Faith is a pixel art horror game. On September 21, 1986, two priests arrived at the Martin Family home in rural Connecticut to investigate an apparent case of demonic possession. Only two people would leave the house alive. Haunted by nightmares and searching for answers, a young priest travels down a dark highway to return to the cursed house a year later. This is a full playthrough of Faith chapter 1 including all 5 endings.

For anyone curious, ending 4's statement about only being able to "carry 25 pounds back to the car", is a reference to The Oregon Trail, in which if you choose to hunt for meat you can only carry back so much to your wagon... any meat in excess is wasted.

This series alone is proof that we need more horror bordering into the more extreme side of the genre in gaming because it can be done SO damn well. (Chapter 2 specifically really pushed into some commonly seen themes of extremity like abuse, people hurting people, religious horror, and horror concerning pregnancy. Not to mention some incredibly disturbing body horror.)

Man, that deer ending is something. The priest can't do anything but try and get away/to his crucifix; you can really feel the hopelessness as the deer entities decide his fate for what happen to their brother.

I definitely recommend checking out chapter 2 and the demo for chapter 3. The story for this game is really interesting and worth delving into. If you do decide to do a "Story Explained" video on this game, I think doing it by chapters would be the way to go.

I think the white person on all-fours, thought to be the Chupacabra, was actually Michael, the priest John’s son. I think this because the ending where John is killed by the white figure in the back of his car was titled “Father and Son” showing a possible relationship between the two. I also think it is Michael as the note said that Michael suffered from a condition that took a toll on his body, this might be the Vitamin-D deficiency mentioned in the description of the white figure. This game is so interesting and I’m ready to watch a “Story Explained” video if you get to it!

Yo, I found something super interesting. So I recently came back to this game after a few months to 100% it, and when I was going for "The Offering" ending, I was sitting there for like 3 minutes doing something on my phone while the screen showed the letter from Gary. All of a sudden this creepy atmospheric music starts playing. Not 8-bit like the rest of the game, but clear quality. Then I hear chanting, followed by what sounds like two bangs on a door, then more chanting, then three bangs, rinse and repeat. Bro when I tell you I was shitting my pants like never before. TL;DR: If you get The Offering ending and then sit idle on the letter for about 3 minutes, some freaky HQ quality music catches you tf off guard.
