He was the voices of the monsters in I am Legend. He sing Italian Opera. He's in, literally, a hundred different bands. He is an absolute legend!

I was born in '89- when Epic was released. FNM is my favourite band. I was lucky enough to see them live when they came to Brissie in 2010 for Soundwave. AMAZING!

I saw FNM at the Charles Hotel, Perth Western Australia in August 1990. It was easily one of the best live shows Ive ever been to, Mike Pattons energy was infectious and INSANE. He was singing at one point HANGING from the lighting rigging above the stage & the mosh pit was HEAVING. Much fun

I've read somewhere that this song specifcally, gave rise to the genre of "Nu metal" thru the late 90s early 00s. Maybe, but very few ever lived up to this standard. Mike Patton is a mad genius.

Zombie eaters is right there with em. The transition into each song, with their eclecticism, for lack of a better term, and murkiness in their genre's era, is why it's one of my favorite albums

@@prizm2807 definitely. I was "too metal" back in those days and blew off his music, until a revelation I had late 90s. Got into dozens and dozens of other genres, I don't blow off his music anymore and found the talent. I kinda laugh at how restrictive I was back then but, some people don't grow out of that ever, I was better late than never.

Not only is Patton crazy ranged when singing, he's also done things like the monsters in "I Am Legend" and was the voice of The Darkness in The Darkness videogames. That one is particularly impressive.

Fully enjoyed your reaction video. Nice mentioning "Easy" as a total different song from Faith No More. The contrast just shows what a friggen amazing band FNM were and what a fantastic singer Mike Patton is. Also, checkout "Evidence" and "Digging The Grave". You'll get the full FNM spectrum.

@@karengre9033 Gotta agree there. As good as Mike Patton is, I think Chuck's voice and delivery fits the song better and it's not just because of the time We Care A Lot or Introduce Yourself came out. Chuck may have been limited, but I think he was getting better. We only have one song ("New Improved Song") to give us an idea of what The Real Thing - or whatever the followup to Introduce Yourself may have been called - could have sounded like with Chuck on vocals. Switching to Mike Patton was the right choice, but there is something about Chuck Mosley's time in the band that can't be matched, although I will say that the version of "As The Worm Turns" with Mike's vocals is the better one.
