This has been a topic I've been personally wanting to cover for a while now...fake crystals and how to tell if they are really real or not! In this class we will be discussing some of the sneaky things done in the crystal industry to enhance crystals, some completely man made crystals and other tricks done to have you completely fooled.
I've been working with crystals for over 10 years now and currently own a crystal store called Awakenings in Omaha. I'm still surprised with some things companies will do just to make a sale. Being educated with crystal basics will help you be aware of some of the fakes out there.

I think the problem is that people don't know how much the stones are actually worth, so it's hard to judge if an offer is too good to be true or not.

Never use fire or heat to test crystals. Even an authentic stone can be damaged, faded or made brittle by excess heat. The best way is to let a certified gemologist test it,.or buy crystals only from a reputable crystal shop with at least five years of operation, with positive reviews and giving certification of authenticity

I am seriously calmed by the high vibration crystals. The first time I held my piece of moldavite ( it came with a certificate from the mine) This deep calm washed over me and I felt an internal deep sigh. What does that mean? I really like rough/raw/natural stones, too. I'm fortunate to live in Montana where I can get lots of local specimens. I even dug some of my own at Crystal Park! Anyway, just super curious why the high vibrations calm me down so well. Thank you so much. Cheers!

i have desert rose quartz that looks like a rose with some rose quartz in it. but it is very fragile. is there fake ones as well? how can you tell from the real one?

What if the Crystal chips off at the end of the cluster? Does that mean the crystal is not for me?

Thats fine, you may continue using it , you can place the chipped piece in a planter or throw into a water body or just return it back to earth.

I saw a Chinese wholesaler selling 20-30 gram pieces for $2 a gram! They had probably over 100 pounds sitting there in chunks and there was no way it was legit! 😅

I knew my moldavite was real right away. I put it on felt like I couldn't breath! Had a panic attack. Lol. I just wasn't ready for it. It is what it is lol.

I put a piece of shungite in my bra and at the end of the day when I took it out my fingers turned gray/ blackish. Is that normal for low grade shungite or do you think it was fake or altered?
