$300 turkish lira is like $16 dollars. I think that's a fair price. People have to pay rent and bills too. It's really annoying when people are bargaining too much. 😒

It’s from China majority of that stuff is for like 10p each or in bulks of 50 like £10 💀don’t be fooled Ik this because I use to own a store in pk and we sold fakes in bazaar I’d make £1500 worth of profit a day times that by 30 then times that by 12 months ;)

@@AWaxid just because you’re too soft and would rather fall into their pray doesn’t mean everyone else is obligated to either, you’re worried them making less money but in reality they’re richer than most of us here in the uk, cost of living is gone sky high, you even know the cost of chips here in uk? Screw that I’d rather make my own chips at home. Dont judge, everyone has their own story.

Hi Mac, just a small note, around the 4:10-4:30 mark, you mentioned that is Pakistani flag but actually that is an incorrect information. That is actually the Ottoman Empire’s flag. Also would recommend maybe trying to find the best of the best of shoes, purses, or watches, rare item that are closest the original, 1:1. Because those are the hard one to find. I feel like that may get some attraction too because some of us looking to spend little more to get 1:1 quality. Thanks enjoy your trip

There is a principle to buy fakes. When you hear the word "China", it means you can buy it for one tenth of the price! However, if you do buy the item, don't be too happy, because it may last less than one-tenth the life of the original brand! The conclusion of this episode is that the farther away from the Istanbul's largest bazaar, the cheaper the price, thanks for sharing!👍😄👏

That's an old conception to China made products. Now a days, big brands had been producing their brand in China due to cheap labour and materials! Definitely their quality control needs to be precious! Sadly a lot of fake goods was duplicated in China due to their easy excessibility to the original design! Trademark and copyright are blatantly disregard!

Turkey's exchange rate has been decimated in the last 12 months. These guys still have a lot of old stock they purchased and offering them low prices is kinda insulting. Sometimes they're either not even breaking even or just making marginal amounts. Previously you could get away with it, but so many of these guys have hit rock bottom with all the foreign currency control measures being waged against Turkey these last few years.

I was in the Grand Bazaar last year expecting to get a good deal. Nope. Even the fakes were expensive. I will say they were pretty good quality but you ain’t getting anything cheap. Also, this bazaar is massive. You could spend days trying to get through it. We asked for some type of map that gave us a better idea of where we wanted to go. There’s nothing. It’s a hodge podge of a jewelry store next to a rug store next to a spice store. No organization or reasoning to it. Still interesting for a girl from the southern U.S.
