Lot's of respect for Kevin for looking out for the rest of us. I've been watching Kevin make these videos for about six or seven years now. Not once have I ever seen him ask people to buy thing's from him through comments on his channels. The only things he asks for are likes, smash the bell and comment. He's also never done what's app stuff on comments either. Watch out for those scammers!!

The people who do these scams are all bots. These bots are automatic and a pain to deal with so deleting the comments are useless and a waste of time to do. I know you figured that out now so no point in me telling you, but you made the right choice by making a youtube video on it. I really love your content Kev and I'm sorry you have to go through this. Can't wait to see the finished monster truck and that 203 mph rc car. Best of luck to you!

It's incredibly easy too. They can even unit test it so anyone who posts can't look "nearly" like the way the owners name/pic would render. But they don't. Its a piece of cake to code it too. Probably about 2 or 3 hours for one dev.

It's crazy to me that KZfaq doesn't have some safeguard against using a known taken name. The way KZfaq has become so politically correct i honestly don't know how you content creators survive. Being a KZfaqr you have to walk such a fine line anymore on top of these scammers it's sad anyway keep up the great work Kevin

I do like the idea of a burner number flooding their wechat. You just need to set it up so it can't be traced back to you. Maybe you can ask for some advice from one of the big KZfaq channels that make their videos and work around making scammers life a living hell. Or better still do a celabration video that will help both their channel and your channel grow.
