He actually impersonated someone who is a real lawyer and both of them have the same first name also. The one this guy impersonated had actually completed the law school but had not taken his practice certificate and according to the law society of Kenya, the advocate did not require the certificate since he worked at the attorney general's office. The reason why they came to know of him is that according to a statement released by the LSK, he tried logging onto the law society of Kenya's portal to activate his account (which I don't know how he even got an account there in the first place) and request for a practicing certificate.

This is such an unprecedented and amazingly, shocking case in this part of the continent!! The case of #BrainMwendaNjagi is a special one and deserves a special treatment. Although, I do not condone wrongdoings, but, I think that he should be rewarded by offering him the opportunity to do Law (LLB) in their country's premier University so as to capitalise and harness his skills for the bettermentof the Kenyan society. For a person to parade himself as an advocate who hasn't been to Law School before and win 26 out of 26 cases in the High Court is just genius! Although, he may be tried for 'Fraud' and 'Impersonation' charges; the benefit of the doubt must be exercise on him by rewarding his efforts instead of his arrest to be tried and then jailed!
