The Main Street Non-Electrical Shuffling Parade is my favorite Disneyland parade.

I filmed a commercial at that fake McDonald's when I was a kid. It's nice inside. Behind the counter they have a real kitchen for them to make all of the prop food and underneath they have the dressing rooms, hair & makeup counters, bathrooms, a little green room area with couches and TVs & stuff, and a conference room for when there's kids on set who need to go to "school". It was fun. I remember it like it was yesterday even though it was almost 15 years ago. And now I feel really old! Also the catering was provided by the studio who was filming the commercial. They all have their own standard catering people who they use for that plus the food from craft services. I also did another McDonald's commercial with Ronald himself which was fun but I had to leave early because I got really really sick.

When you watch a Justin Scarred video to see what he does at Frank and Sons, then he also randomly goes to the Twin Pines Mall. This is why I love his videos!

Today was like a walk through ny childhood toys. Thank you Justin :)

2 random facts for you. The fake mc Donald's used to have a smaller lot and huge lawns around it. (I used to mow them haha). 2 the frank and sons mini museum used to be a vendors booth, she passed on and it's been kept as a memorial to her. Just FYI :)

Growing up in West Covina in the 80's, the Puente Hills mall was the best in the San Gabriel valley. It was packed every weekend. I was lucky enough to see some of the filming for Back To The Future. Last time I was there was Sept 10th 2001, to see a movie. The next day, the United States changed forever.

Back to the Future is one of my all-time favorite films. I seriously wish I lived near the locations it was filmed at. There are several films shot around my area where I grew up (and still live) here in Utah County. Probably the best known one is Footloose, among other lesser movies such as Dumb and Dumber and The Sandlot. The building where the final Footloose dance scene was filmed at still stands (it's actually a flour mill), although it's completely surrounded by urban sprawl now. The warehouse that Kevin Bacon dances alone in to blow off steam is long gone now: the old Geneva Steel Mill.

The weirdest thing to me in this vlog is that the sushi place in the mall is still there!! I used to take piano lessons at a music store in that mall fifteen years ago and I remember always walking by that crazy sushi place. I haven't been to that mall in years and I would never have guessed that place was still there!!

I had to look away when you started going a little crazy with the camera near the end, haha. Frank & Sons is pretty sweet and there's no way I could leave without buying a few things. I knew you were at best going to get only one item. :D

I remember "ReBoot". It was kinda' silly-fun. (I feel pretty much the same way that you do about... [YAWN!] Sports) At lease Alli got in on the fun at the end... THANKS, JUSTIN! (and Alli) Always wondered where the Twin Pines Mall was.

Very cool seeing the parade go by outside the park. That's how I imagined it'd be like living in Anaheim next to Disneyland. Reminds me of people seeing parade floats on the I-5 Orlando.

My friend introduced me to this place a few months ago, it's awesome!!!

It looks like they were moving the Light Up The Night floats to storage. 🙁 I like that parade & I'm sad that we won't be able to see the original Main Street Electrical Parade for the comeback. I wish I could afford passes. Hopefully next year.

A replica of the 'time machine DeLorean' is on display at Gold Strike Hotel/Casino near Las Vegas.

I bet they were moving the floats because of the Star Wars construction

yeah that's just down the street from the Hills Mall where they film all the commercials for McDonald's but I see they remodeled it used to look like the old I graduated in 1984 so but I remember hanging out there you're running around in all my old stomping grounds from my childhood don't you go up and check out that tree it's pretty cool it's huge it grows all across the river and stream quite cool

I went to this mall a couple of years ago (video on my channel!) and I will agree that it is in their best interest to utilise their BTTF movie fame to draw more people in to (hopefully) spend money at the mall!

Right now all that's on my mind to be looking for is Max Steel (the original 2000 series), Tezuka stuff (mainly Kimba/Leo and Astro stuff) and Zoids. Dun mind if it's from the 80's comic series (though apparently there were annuals that I need to know some of the plots in said comics) or from the anime series. Just stuff that's interesting and rare that only I know apparently XD
