Vets in the game love to cry about the state of it no matter what, big things, small things doesn't matter. At the end of the day, they love to eat shit and come back to eat some more, I'm just saying LMAO. Game is more accessible than ever, you can complain about things in the game sure just don't cry too much it just makes us vet players look like pathetic little bitches.

@@CyberSyntek new Players have an easy Road, going out of Season with pen blackstar and and insane Stats, they are not burned out from grinding… they are Motivated the same as we were. But i had to Grind hundreds of Hours on low silver Spots Like normal aakman, gahaz, sausans. They start on 500m + Spots and each Upgrade is Like 10 Hours grind because everything is cheap now.

@@emperorpudding216you’re not wrong, but PvE does heavily prioritise AP monkey build and that’s where the majority of the playtime chunk is, so until you catch up to near the top and had the luxury of extra accessories and diversifying your build with pieces to swap on the go evasion players could feel ridiculously untouchable. But imo instead of all these L changes PA has been making they should’ve not looked at dumbing down their game so there’s basically only 1 path, but instead dumb down the needlessly toxic RNG so having multiple sets (Accu set vs Eva, AP set vs DR, full Eva/DR set if you wanna go tanky) would be more achievable for a larger chunk of the playerbase to give everyone more fun and options instead of taking the fun and options away from everyone that isn’t a pure PvE Andy trembling at the thought of any PvP

@@emperorpudding216 It was not weak in the slightest lol. You could build a full eva set up for like a quarter of what you needed for accuracy. Like base centaurs were what like 20 mil while base turos were at the time 300 mil. All while the evasion guy didnt need that much ap to kill most dr classes, the outliers being stuff like Zerk, valk, and warrior. I havent played since Feb so idk how the new changes are but I am assuming they just basically flip flopped it now DR is what evasion is. Also, you saying you had FIVE accuracy accs. as if that isnt a big goal to go out of your way to build while 90% of the game scaled with just straight AP. DR was absolutely useless. Im not saying they needed to nerf evasion just buff DR

Because BDO is actually a good game. Compare to the other MMO that is out now. It's one of the top MMO to play.

That was the balance, being rewarded vs evasion for running high accuracy but punished against high dr and vice versa. Now its just dr dr dr

Don't blame the players, blame the devs. It's not PvE players' fault that the devs decided to cater to them. It's not the PvE players' fault that the PvP community is so small the devs didn't think it was a financially viable decision to focus on them. And that's because the truth is PvP in this game is way too hard to access for new players. PvP is a COMPLETELY different game to PvE. So people try the game, they come out of season, they might want to try PvP but they'll just get bodied non stop with absolutely 0 chances of fighting back as a noob. Compare that to idk a PvP FPS. If you're a noob you'll get shit on but you know what you need to do: be more accurate, improve your reflexes etc. so it's not only easier to improve, but also you're less inclined to just give up because the path to success is clear. In BDO you have none of that. As a noob you'll get one shot or spend all your time perma CC'd. They'll hit super hard while you'll do 0 damage to them and you'll have no idea wtf is going on. Protections, CC chains, AP/DP brackets, accuracy etc. none of that is explained, or obvious. You need to no life BA, watch 30min guides and have other players willing to teach you to even get an understanding of wtf is going on. That's is just not a viable way to have an healthy PvP community. PA's biggest fuck up is making PvP such a black box so removed from the PvE experience that in the end PvE and PvP players will be completely different playerbases that want different things.

Yeah you’re right. Who’d even want that from a (semi-hardcore) PvEvP MMO advertised as such since release and still to this day? Being at this point where BDO is practically a solo hack and slash silver collect-a-thon RPG without much of a soul to speak of, nor any well designed challenging content that reaches further than oneshotting different flavours of mob packs, is so much better…

@@TheFrmxyou’re too blinded by “hurrdurr hate on warrior” to see the valid point that BDO is a brilliant combo system packaged in a really shitty game that lacks depth and is so inconsistent the only “difficulty” comes from inconsistent and half-assed mechanics and functionality now that PA has massively dumbed down PvP and is damn near choking it out completely PvE is damn near all that’s left and has 0 skill required. It just straight up sucks in BDO if you look any further than making minced meat out of oneshot mobs. Take a soulslike for example, you can “git gud” and dominate bosses. In BDO? No matter how good you get, it’s an RNG roll if the boss will take you out of protections by magically hitting through them, CC mechanics on for example the pit of undying bosses are so scuffed the general strategy is brute forcing them with gearscore, resistances adding even more RNG gamba to the equation… there is no difficult content in the game, just frustrating inconsistencies that can cause you to have to retry even if you’re geared out of the ass and have mastered your class. PvP was pretty much the only area of the game where skill and tactic used to be able to shine

Removing pvp was its biggest nail. The second was shitty class balancing. Third was screwing over the vets that spent their time and soul into grinding stuff and giving all these new players exactly what we worked hard for. I dont mind the grind if it actually had meaning. What's stopping me from quitting for like 3 years and coming back to be right where everyone else is that stayed for those 3 years and grinded their asses off? Game doesnt respect your time like it used to.

@@HerrscherOfDead true. that's why i feel hopeless, zero reason to motivate me to grind, 740 to 770, and i know i still will be semi afk horse riding or grinding, i dont wanna play broken classes to have fun, i dont wanna endless grind, 13k hrs should be enough to be done with gearing but not. bdo has probably sh1ttiest endgame in mmorpgs, and im pretty sure pearl abyss rng-carry some streamers and ambassadors, i know tons of players when they were not content creator or ambassador and they were suffering with bad rng like other players do and avg softcap gs, but when they are content creator and ambassador they became super lucky rng gods, 770++ with splendid stones and triple mythical horses in short time, trader rings, 10 ambers/hr when darkseekers retreat released first, being super lucky on rng boxes on streams etc... i ticket this and they were askin me for proof, like i can reach to game logs but whatever, it doesnt matter anymore, this game doesnt deserve any good when pearl abyss keep acting like this.

Its not Black Desert fault that PVP got removed, its more like people who abuse stats and no life play time to farm others, imagine you get griefed while grinding from 770 GS Evasion Player (before DR Changes) or Double Pen Narc, Cadry ring Player and you sit on 710GS Crescent Rings, Basi Belt, basically the worst Pens you can have but they are solid for Grind. You stand 0 Chance, its like playing against Aimbot Wallhack cheats. And then those players even reroll to most op Classes to make it even stronger, like Valk, Drak, Zerker all the OP meta classes, the way it is, no1 cares about pvp anyways, its not about skill anymore, its just about gear and class you play. But anyway short story: Players are/were the Problem all the Way and i hope so much that all those Vets quit, this toxiv enviorement they created its not good and its like the pay to win players cry that there is no pay to win anymore

There is no real game here anymore, it went from semi-hardcore PvEvP sandox MMORPG to a PvE toddler ballpit for players afraid of any real challenge beyond oneshotting different flavoured mob packs depending on your gearscore number and watching meaningless silver stack up. BDO basically devolved into a 3rd person hack and slash snoozefest timesink that caters to the brainrot cottonballs who break down at the slightest idea of having a challenge that isn’t simply overcome sitting on their ass waiting for it to remove itself for them while PA holds their hand and tells them how great and amazing they are every step of the way

@@killfly_ The game is now only for people that run in circles all day gaslighting themselves that the gear they are getting will amount to something in the future. you're right the game was meant to be a pvevp game with more of a lean towards pvp hence why the combat was so good. killing off like 95% of pvp ultimatly makes it a pve game with the occasional pillow fight. The game was never built to be a solely pve game lol. There was a reason FFXIV was there for the pvers and BDO was here for the pvpers that wanted to challenge their skill. If I wanted a PVE game I would go somewhere else and thats exactly what I did.

@@HerrscherOfDead yet PA still advertising the game as such and boasting about the PvP even now lmao It really makes me wonder how there can be such a disconnect with these devs, or how such a massive chunk of the (new) playerbase is so anti PvP or don’t expect it to be such an essential part of the game even if PA has been mostly killing it off with their changes But I did exactly the same. no FFXIV, WoW, or RS for me because my level of “brokeness” fluctuates so I can’t be sure I’ll reliably be able to afford renewing subscriptions and because of that having any running makes me always fear I am not playing enough to justify having spent the money on them, but going back to GW2, Warframe, and ESO (F2P so no ESO+ but especially conveniently timed that it’s their 10th anniversary too and they have been giving DLC out for free) as well as just discovering other free or cheap games in different genres to have fun with again and rediscover what it is to have an enjoyable time playing a lot of games that aren’t as bland and brain mushing as BDO has become in recent times I still log on and play a little bit every now and then very casually but it’s an extremely minimal amount of time in comparison to the over 20k hours over the first 6 to 7ish years of my BDO lifetime

@@killfly_ You're better than I. I can't even bother to reinstall the game anymore just knowing that if I were to log and mindlessly grind it would all be useless. Just as you I been playing for 7 years and somewhat recently like end of last year I made it to I believe like 736 GS before I quit. Mostly because all those years of me working up to all that I have was all for nothing when a new player comes barreling through getting a pen BS, 2 free pen accessories, free T9 horse all while low end grind spots still spew out a ton of money. So most people that start the game nowadays get all this stuff grind a couple months and are where I am after 7 years cus now the only real thing left for me to go for is pen debo and im not doing that.

@@killfly_ maybe some pen debos, you are delusional if you think its not pay to win, do you know how many people spend atleast 200€ per month? just to get some crons or artisan memory, it is the worst game by far on the market, its just casino simulator, combat system sucks, 25 tick servers, constant laggin when pvp, like i frame sometimes not work, get cc'd in superarmor its just soooooo bad, i can go play world of warcraft and get pvp gear in like 1-2 days. and the pvp is much more balanced than bdo shit show
