Eagle Taxidermy. COOKED FEET. Electrocuted. Part 1 of 2, Mounting

Hi All. hope all is going well with you. I was supposed to upload this video in the weekend but the family had me quite busy.
Here we are with a 2 part video, of this beautiful Immature female golden eagle that was electrocuted and the electricity entered it body from one foot and exited from another resulting in both feet fully cooked and dried,most ankle feathers fell out during the process since the feet were full cooked and dried. and the toes could hardly move,, so thats why one of the feet looks like its not relaxed on the perch. anyways I hope you enjoy this part and stay tuned for the next part is coming on soon. hopefully on Wednesday.

What kind of blue styrofoam board are you using and the glue that you are using to join the sheets? I would like to try and secure some of these for a red-tailed hawk mount. Thanks.

The foam I’m using is not glued together to be that thick. It comes in large blocks.

Hello.what is the name of the one you put on your neck.when i wash it causes hair loss why .cotton hair loses it old form

The eagles cotton feathers do not regain their original shape when washed.when they dry the feathers fall out

Oh I see… if your feathers are falling out there could be different reasons. If they are pin feathers (still growing) like they are moulting .. or they have had bacteria growth on skin which causes feather loss , or sometimes if you leave them in the water for too long that can cause it too.
