If the skin is badly dried out just mist it with a spray bottle or give it a wash before throwing it in the freezer. If the skin is nice and pliable still just put it in the freezer as is.

Hmm,, never thought of it. If the bird is fresh it usually flushes out fast and if it a dried out one, it usually flushes out more solidified.

I flush with acetone! Dissolve the fat! I don’t have an air gun so first I use a wire to remove most of it and then I flush with acetone until it comes out clear.

​@@frenchustubegood idea! What I usually do is take a syringe filled with dawn and water, stick it into the bone hole I drilled, and most of the yucky marrow will blow out the other side. Maybe the air compresser would be better though, not sure because I don't have one.
