BGSU’s School of Engineering proudly hosted the “Falcon BEST Robotics Competition 2023,” marking its tenth year of innovation. Thirteen school teams from Ohio and Indiana participated, showcasing their meticulously designed, built, and tested remote-controlled robots. The theme, “Incision-Decision,” challenged teams to create robots that assist in complex surgeries. In addition to the main competition, teams competed for the prestigious BEST Awards, which recognize excellence in project engineering, marketing, team exhibits, spirit, and performance. Nine teams contended for these awards, with three advancing to the regional and national finals in Denver, that was scheduled for December 16 & 17.
