Video demonstrating the boresighting process for AGM-65 Maverick missiles in Falcon BMS.
Boresight Process:
FCR, SMS, and WPN on left MFD
TGP and HSD on right MFD
FCR and TGP selected
AGM-65 Power ON
MASTER ARM to SIM
Find target on FCR
Refine contact on TGP
Point track target on TGP
When within 10nm, DMS LEFT to select WPN page
DMS DOWN to select WPN page as SOI
UNCAGE to pop cover on seeker
Refine contact on WPN page
PINKY to select EXP on WPN page
When within 8nm, TMS UP to initiate target track
If track successful, OSB 20 for BSGT
TMS DOWN to deselect track
MSL STEP to select next pylon
Repeat refine target, EXP, track, and BSGT procedure.

Straight to the point! 👍 I want to add something in addition; It is possible to 'TMS up' and command a point track on a building via TGP, while having the WPN page selected on the other MFD, with the MAV's already uncaged, and not getting a MASTER Caution. Just quickly switch SOI from the TGP to the WPN page, right after pressing TMS up. - By doing so, the attempt to start the "Hand Off" will get interrupted, and therefore you won't get a "Hand Off" failure. Using this method comes with the clear benefit that it is much easier/faster to acknowledge that you really aim (with both sensors) for the very same building, which is needed for the actual boresight procedure ofc.

Absolutely true! I don't generally do it that way because A) the TGP far outranges the mav seeker, and B) the WPN seeker will always follow the SPI, so regardless of whether or not you're looking at the WPN page, the seeker will be looking somewhere in the vacinity of the TGP SPI. You can always switch to the WPN page whenever you want. But it definitely works, and that's the important part!

Just to clarify, the reason you're using sim instead of master arm on, and the reason you turn everything off at the end, is because you're not actually intending to fire at the moment, you're simply aligning (boresighting) the maverick to the same spot as the TGP, so later you can use the TGP to find your target, and your maverick will already be pointing at the same location? Am I understanding correct?

Exactly! There is a natural misalignment of the two sensors due to their different locations. Boresighting on a distant target corrects for this misalignment. I use SIM because I have no intention of actually firing the missile during the boresighting process, and in fact want to ensure I can't do so accidentally.
