I've been on these tires since March and love them. I've put 7000+miles on them. One day at the dragstrip and 2500+ miles on a road rally. I'm going to suspect that with my 3rd gen miata the wear will be less than that of a car closer to twice my weight. They have held up really well. They do meh in really wet conditions but dry and damp conditions have been wonderful. In the time I've own this car I've never smelled the clutch but have with these tires, on really sticky surfaces, hooning the shit out of it.

Just ran with this on Pacific raceway on a mostly stock nd2 mx-5 with only sway bar and front brake caliper upgrade. Went 1:46!! These are as grippy as some guys in a strip club. Perfect weather condition

Just something I thought I would mention. Treadwear index does NOT transfer from tire manufacturer to tire manufacturer. It doesn't work that way. You can only compare tire's treadwear from the same manufacturer. As that number is just how it is wearing down compared to the test tire they used while they were developing the tire. So 200 treadwear would mean it lasts twice as long as that test tire they used (100 treadwear being the test tire from which they pull that last treadwear number that ends up on the tire that is in the store). So pulling it all together it would mean that 200 treadwear from Toyo (for example) is not the same as 200 treadwear from Michelin tires or Falken tires or whatever. :) So in this case you could compare treadwear of other Falken tires and not any other manufacturer.

Have you guys got a tyre that you'd recommend that are grippy but also good on wear? I plan to get 235/35/19 tyres for my upcoming turbo LS1 build that will primarily be a street car.

Is the sidewall as stiff as it looked and what air pressure did you use?

where can i get tires this wide with the same or close to the same tread pattern that are not just track tires. im getting tired of just racing and then the next step is all season. where did the summer tires go? summer doesnt need to mean track tires. i want wide tires that have lots of tread and not much water gaps and that last as long as a typical tire. if i drive my car only in the summer but not ever on the track, i still want it to be wide with tread. not a rain tire, i dont drive it in the rain or on the track. where is that tire? please and thank you.

Used to have the normal 615Ks, it was ok for lapping but for Time Attack it was far too slow. This one might be better but seems like it wouldn't be fast enough still. Anyhow, R-Comps or nothing for me now, tired of overheating street tyres.

Just thinking, putting a wider rear tire might increase rear traction, but that also might cause some understeer. Maybe go up to the 295 in the rear but also go up to 275 in the front.

Anyone have any comment on the comfort level of these tires and road noise in general? Planning on running these as a pure street setup and prefer some comfort and the grip.
