My normal kitchen is collected blue and white dishes,platters and decor , with tarnished silver trays, urns and teapots. But I do collect the Johnson Bros red transferware in the pattern Old Britain Castles for Christmas time . Its such a cozy homey feel. Also I have always decorated with green and golden pears for fall. I do have some gorgeous pumpkins, but the green pears are so unexpected , but beautiful . A copper tea kettle on the stove is quintessential fall . Your gold framed paintings are incredible. TIP: I have found all my Ben Franklin spectacles at my Goodwill , who always has a basket of glasses on the counter for $2.00 each. And I use antique gold Rub and Buff to age book pages that are to white. Finally , I was droolong pver that Harvest pear and fig candle at the end. I love anything in amber glass and the scent sounds delicious!

I am sooo anxious to decorate for fall, my favorite season. However, I'm waiting on a hip replacement and am in a lot of pain, so my decorating will probably be much later than I'd like. Also, I love all transferware, but particularly brown. Can't wait for this year's video!!!

I live in Alaska and gigantic ravens are around here all year long but they are here especially in the long winters. They scare me and they’re trash pandas😂

Really enjoyed this video. I got some ideas to include in my fall decorating. Plan on starting my decorating in August. Right now I’m starting to put away some summer things and getting ready. Fall is my favorite time to decorate. Looking forward to your future videos.

I usually decorate earlier than most as it makes me happy. I love Fall, its my favorite. I just love the colors. I leave my Fall up until after Thanksgiving then its on to Christmas . Enjoy your day. Love Mrs. Meyer’s Acorn Spice! I stocked up last year so I could start using it in September this year without having to wait for back orders; did the same with the Peppermint for winter and Grapefruit for spring/summer, I usually make my own cleaners but these are my fav’s for quick clean ups and liquid hand soaps. Funny to see your copper pig, I have an old copper piggy bank on my dryer to put loose change in (our house rule is what comes to the laundry room in your pockets is mine like $$$ 😅). I just bought some faux florals with yellows, oranges and browns to put in my blue glass vase (blue is my constant through the year in my neutral colored home) that I will place on my kitchen island. I do tend to just change out my kitchen towels and florals to indicate change of seasons along with what I put in my diffusers. Your decor is very well done and has given me a few ideas, thanks!

That copper piggy bank was my grandmas and I have so many fond memories of her teaching me how to save $ with this bank. When she passed away it came to me and I have cherished it since. I'm so forgetful! Every season I pull out my old decor and surprise myself by what I have. Lol. Of course if I bought it at the end of the season on clearance, I may not have even used it yet. I didn't know there was a difference between a raven and a crow. Now I have to google how big they get. I don't decorate for Halloween but my decor definitely has the cobwebs. 😂

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. When we were in London and visited the Tower of London we saw (what we thought was an animatronic) Raven on top of the tower. We thought it was mechanical because of how large it was even as far away as it was up on top of the tower. Later we viewed the Ravens being fed by the keepers (they have 7 Ravens on the property that live there and they care for) They were as large as an American Eagle. 😳

Excited to see what you do this year! 🎃 I’d say you can make a table or coffee table out of that old door… or maybe a bench for the porch? My husband made a bench for our front porch out of live edge wood & found the legs on Amazon.

Hi jen! Just finished watching the Review, your decor ideas were so lovely and i am Sure it will be nice this year too! When the seasons change i always Grab the decor out and sort things out, mostly when i dont like certain stuff i put it in a bag and give it to friends who loves to decorate but for some reason dont have decor items, that makes my heart so big, i learned that from my granny and my mum, i have you in my rosary sweet friend 😊🫶🙋‍♂️💐🤍🙏✝️
