i live in the u.p. mi and planted potatoes now for next year. i figured i can now seeing how potatoes are takeing over my whole garden because i rotake and this last year the potatoes were everywhere from years past, im starting 2 new gardens and i will never plant a potato in my "new" gardens!

I tried that kind of irrigation. Leaks water did not go from horizontal line down the vertical line and back up. This year I am going to try grey water watering from the washer. BTW my water bill went up from 27 per mo to 100. when watering from the city water system. I live in NM so not much rain except in July and August.

Spinach is number one.

Looking good!!!. Sure hope that you can profit on that large plot of spinach and Romain. I know that labor of love (Hobbie Farm) is expensive to maintain.

How do you get your garden area that clean? Mine is littered with plant debris, summer hay mulch, hoed-up weeds, etc. Will the planter work in less-than-perfect conditions? That drip irrigation is nice but I got tired of unwrapping it out of my tiller tines. I use rain towers now from A.M. Leonard.

J & J it is hard to start a homestead. I have been experimenting for 2 years. also. I ended up putting my female rabbits in a 10 x 10 dog run with a cover I put a small square bottom on the ground as rabbits can escape from almost any cage or area..And of course when they escape they come back pregnant. One rabbit had 2 kits who are now 6 weeks old. The other whom I thought was in a cage with another female had kits 7 kits 3 weeks ago today.( 5 survived) She is now alone in the cage with her kits. This arrangement seems to be working well but now I have 7 more rabbits to either cage or find a new home for. BTW it is hard to sex young rabbits.

This may not be the best vid for this comment. However, we are heavily shopping Kubotas and are finding some good deals on non-HST tractors with everything we want. I think your is HST???? How important is that to you? Benefits?
