Amazing channel, so refreshing that ppl are no longer reluctant to talk about mental health. From my xp; to anyone who's ever been a victim of hate / violence because of their appearance, gender, orientation, race : DO NOT ever let a hateful notion 'there's something wrong with me' sink in. Trust me, it's a recipe for self hatred and compulsive anxieties later on. When we suffer and we need a break, it's only natural to think: maybe if I wasn't 'different', if I was 'normal' I would be accepted. No, haters will always find something else to prey upon. I've always had kinda androgynous look, which was a fuel for bullies when I was growing up. I embraced it, used it to my advantage in my acting / modeling career, I was almost the face of Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

I find the LA trend of getting unnecessary IV’s to be so odd. It’s like something from the hunger games. The novelty of feeling like you’re a patient without the actual stress. If you’re dehydrated, drink water and eat fruit. It’s California, where there is more access to watermelons and mangos and strawberries than other places in the world.

thank you, it's always so nice and comforting to see your vlogs! it's nice that you say you want to have more community; I always kind of feel like I really want to have my own place, and that's "the dream", but due to finances it's just tooooo difficult, but in the mean time a longtime friend became my housemate now and it's been so nice! it's actually so fun to have someone you can hang with or eat with or drink with if you feel like it, especially if you actually like each other. it really feels more like a home

I definitely agree that there needs to be higher regulations, laws, etc. for helping displacement of people from their neighborhoods. I don't have an amazing answer other than joining tenant unions and voting as "radical" as I can on these issues to help vote people in who will advocate for this. I feel like dropping this as a comment doesn't really give me much dialogue to go with other than shame which i guess i understand if this is a personal issue to you. I try my best to pick and choose places that seem to create the least disruption and has always been something that is on my mind since living in ny and now la. Otherwise I don't really have a good answer, I don't think me not existing fixes the problem from everything I've read about this issue and how to actually help it. A big reason I left ny was that I didn't want to be taking up space in an area that I wasn't completely enthused to be there. From a mindset - it is really important to me to tread lightly, support local businesses etc. to help ease anything which I do naturally do. I will definitely speak more on this if i go further into moving or making more vids on this topic. Open to hearing any suggestions from you perspective to help co-exist in this space.
