Tonight we visited Albany NY on a Saturday night as we checked out the Lark st area and Central Ave. Although Albany is relatively a safe place to visit we always encourage caution when traveling and visiting places at night that you are not familiar with.

I couldn’t count how many times I would ride down western Ave from Guilderland to Madison Ave, take it all the way to Lark. Then go over to central Ave and take it all the way back to Colonie the. Turn on 155 heading back to Voorheesville. Was a nice little evening cruise.

Yes is sure was, it seems lately (to me) things are going downhill on Lark. But it could have just been bad timing

@@TrvlXLTV looks deserted to me, I mean the sidewalks used to be full in the evening. Seriously there were more people on the streets when it was December/January than now. It’s actually sad, I’m just like we’re are all the people. That was what was fun about going downtown all the people out and about.

This was a really enjoyable ride, many interesting sights. Albany seems to be a very attractive town in this early evening light. Thanks so much for showing this.

You are welcome and one thing about this city it is has very nice views, it seems to be a little sketchy as of late. hopefully it picks up for the better

Are there any good restaurants around there?or live music?

There are some good ones. 288 Wine bar is good, Shogun I've had before and it has great reviews. Everyone seems to like bombers for some good bar food and drinks on their Bday. I have had LAX food before and was good. The last time I ate out in this area was prior to the pandemic so something to keep in mind.
