It’s true! I like a lot of her darker, edgy projects she would do later on but I think it’s really cool how she’s coming back in a positive familiar space, it’s good for the fans and for her own state of mind probably too.

Really? I filmed with her for Mean Girls (it was filmed here in Toronto and I was an extra) and she was a nightmare to work with. But thats not news, she was known for being impossible at that time in her life. Im so happy she has turned things around. 💓

I can picture playing a superhero or anti-hero in the future. I mean, Macaulay Culkin, Robert Downey Jr., Jodie Sweetin, Shannen Doherty, Drew Barrymore, Rob Lowe, Britney Spears and Mickey Rourke have managed to clean their dirty acts up and became loved by Hollywood again. Words cannot explain how much Lindsay's fans from her old Disney days feel right now. She's good at singing, dancing as well but she's known for portraying legendary roles in teenage movies. She's an icon that no one can beat even though she went through many ups and downs. Lindsay will always own a special place in my heart even if she didn't do movies anymore. I love Lindsay and I will defenitely stream this Christmas joy on Netflix. ❤

omg just watched it today and literally cried bc i was so moved to see lindsay finally having a good time again. me and my sisters looooved her in the early 2000s. she was our icon, i cant even count how often we binge watched confessions of a teenage drama queen. so glad to see her get back on track♥️ media and early fame did destroy her, but she managed to survive through it and i love how strong she is 😍 she will always be one of my fav actresses 🥰

Check out Labor Pains (2009), Georgia Rule (2000) which are two of Lindsay's most overlooked films. She was also on Season-2 of Sick Note (2017-18) which is when she really made her comback to acting before doing reality TV in 2019 before the pandemic hit.

I am having some sort of extra joyful feeling for this Xmas season that I can't quite describe seeing her back. After ALLL these years, it's this flood of nostalgia, like I'm both young again and my actual age. I never thought she'd make a return like this and I'm just so happy. Every character I loved her for playing when we were younger, in this trailer she still seems like that same Lindsay.

Just finished watching the movie. Loooooooved Lindsay and Chord in it. Her acting was so good she got me teary eyed in some scenes omg! Almost forgot how great of an actor Lindsay is! Chord is so good too I wonder why he hasn’t got the chance to play lead in some other movies too, he’s charismatic and gives so much without doing too much.

From what I've gathered, most of the damage done to her career were somewhat self-inflicted. She most likely knows the game of being a celebrity... and yet she did all the no-nos, that are not looked well upon by neither audiences or studios. Being a celebrity is basically being a part of the biggest popularity contest ever. One wrong move... Boom! You're done!

In Lilo's time, you can name a number of young celebrities who couldn't cope with the pressure of being famous, the likes of Britney Spears. Recently, you no longer see as many of them fall victims to scandals as in Lilo's era. They become more conscious about their reputation and their status. You can say that they have the advantage of learning from the best. So yeah, Lilo's should take blames on her own but she could have been wiser should she bloomed a bit later.

Aw I’m so happy to see her doing films again. What she went through in terms of media scrutiny was honestly so horrible. Glad to see it seems she’s in a better place. Also she looks amazing and healthy. Just makes me so hopeful and happy whenever people are able to redeem themselves, especially when their struggles came from misunderstood trauma and pain that people tend to judge so harshly. Not just bc it's a successful wholesome movie that will color her resume and bring joy to many ppl, but more so bc of the personal struggles she overcame to get to this point. Don't minimize ppl's successes like that. It makes you look petty, unappreciative, and cold. Watch this movie, and maybe you won't be a Grinch for Christmas this year.

@@dannyohare3645 Even though Hollywood blacklisted her from film roles in the 2010s because she had some late moments coming to set during the late 2000s and early 2010s, it's absolutely a shame that she didn't get voice acting roles!! Lindsay's voice is so distinctive and iconic, she could have been a narrator on teen comedy films and voiced characters on animated series but they deprived us from that!!
