"Countless" is the epouge track on SHINee's repackaged The Story of Light album from 2018 and this album is part of their 10th anniversary celebrations. "Good Evening," "I Want You" "Our Page" and "Countless" are all part of a three part release celebrating SHINee's 10th anniversary. So they released 3 mini albums with 5 songs each in their The Story of Light trilogy and they had 3 comebacks each 2 weeks apart to showcase their lead track on each of their albums. "Good Evening" and "All Day All Night" were their comeback tracks from Episode 1, " I Want You" and "Who Waits for Love" were their comebacks from Episode 2 and Episode 3 was "Our Page" and "Tonight". Their comeback lasted 6 weeks to represent the fact that this was SHINee's 6th "full length" album. At the end of the six weeks they released a special final MV to celebrate their anniversary and all they have been through over the past 10 years with their song "Countless." This comeback was their first comeback after Jonghyun died, so that is why there are only 4 members in this MV --Jonghyun died Dec.18, 2017. That is why this was such a poignant time in SHINee's history and why it is so important to fans. "Countless" also was SHINee's last group comeback before Onew, Key and Minho went off to serve in the military for 18 months. So, this album is all about Jonghyun and every song has something to do with what they went through in the 6 months leading up to this album release, etc. "Good Evening" is about SHINee's grieving process and the way the public sees them. "I want you" Is about learning to find happiness again and how they are personally dealing with everything that happened and "Our Page" is the members telling their story and what they want the world to know about them as a group and what they will remember and miss the most about Jonghyun, etc. And "Countless" is showing how SHINee has now come out on the other side and is now ready to start to move on. Blue flowers, when equated with a message usually stand for love and inspiration, and when presenting someone with blue flowers you are telling them you will stay loyal and passionate about them. In "Countless," I see SHINee presenting blue flowers to use Shawols saying, they are promising to stay true and loyal to us and to keep the passion they have as a group alive -- they are promising to keep on working hard to give us their best. Which is fitting because "Countless" was the song that helped to bring their message in their Story of Light album to a close and showed us that they will continue on and work even harder to continue theirs and Jonghyun's legacy, etc. Plus, pearl aqua/blue/green, is SHINee's fan color so there are always blue images and blue colors in their MVs. Blue has a lot of important messages when it comes to SHINee. Taemin's style of singing, especially in SHINee songs, is a lot like Jonghyun. And as you have seen with their songs, such as "Why So Serious?," Taemin fills in for Jonghyun whenever Jonghyun was unable to participate in a performance. And even today, Taemin often takes over the high notes and the parts that I think would probably have been Jonghyun's parts in their new songs, as you hear with "Countless." Jonghyun was the one that really took Taemin under his wing and helped him to become the singer that he is today. So, many think that Taemin's voice emulates Jonghyun because he is the one that taught Taemin to sing. Jonghyun always has been Taemin's biggest supporter and the one that rooted for him the hardest and loudest out of anyone. Fun fact: I think Key's short hairstyle for this comeback was his form or rebellion and his way of starting fresh and starting to move on after Jonghyun's death. He surprised us all by all of a sudden going on VLive and shaving his hair all off right before the start of their 10th anniversary promotions. However, it happened to work out well for him because he had to cut his hair short for the military anyway. So, he just gave himself and everyone almost a year to get used to his short haircut. :D

Just to let you know there is a solo album Key dropped before enlisting to the military called "Face" and there are some mvs for the album. Also he did a repackage of the album as well. He did a Japanese album too. There is also a live performance of "Imagine" an all English song that he dropped while they did the Ringtone comeback as well as "Marry You" as a group performance and his falsetto at the end ugh... stunning and if you have not seen "Born To Shine" live English solo by Key then you have to... him with that red hair, shirtless harness over his chest and a whip in hand come on don't pass up on that performance!!!

Shinee has done almost any concept out there. So the fact that this is so different from them is also the reason why it’s so... “Shinee”. And each comeback showcases a special aspect of each member. Shinee’s one of those groups where you can’t really compare them with one another because they’re so different, but they excel at what they do equally. I think you’d really love Key and Onew’s solo stuff. More specifically “Blue” by Onew and “I Wanna Be” by Key. Onew’s voice is absolutely gorgeous in it. And Key, much like Taemin, has such a distinct style when promoting his solo works. Countless is a love song for shawols! And while many people think DCM is something super new for SHINee, and yes, it is their first hip hop track, they've done really really strong songs before - Alive, Trigger (live), Up and Down - this isn't out of their wheelhouse at all. I think it was Andreas Odberg who said he loves to write for SHINee because they can do whatever you throw at them.

loved this comeback. it has kind of a classic feel to it and it's really different. the bass line and the repetitive sample throughout the song are eally addictive. the styling and the choreo were amazing and all the members had their moment. their album is amazing, i loved every single b-side, but "kind" has to be my favorite. so far is my album of the year, hahah sm really knows how to make good albums.

I'm not a boy group stan, but it's always nice to see a 2nd generation group having a comeback. Sunmi (she was the bass player in Wonder Girls) released a new song called "Tail". You should react to some Sunmi songs. I suggest to react to "24 Hours" and "Full Moon" first, she released these songs when she was in JYP. After Wonder Girls disbandment she joined a new company and she released "Gashina" and "Heroine" and they were produced by Teddy (Blackpink main composer). All the songs she released after "Heroine" are composed by herself, so you can really see an evolution in here music. "Borderline" is probably one of my favourite, she wrote this song about her BPD (borderline personality disorder)
