I would say this. It really depends on what you intend on using the knife for. For a survival type knife that you intend on doing lots of chopping shelter building and batoning with I'd say yes! But if you were just looking for an overall Bushcraft knife I would not recommend it. It's too heavy and thick and tiresome to use for making notches and carving and cutting paracord and making fire. I think there are much better knives for the later.

@emrekale8827 I like my cold steel master hunter in 3v. Pretty inexpensive and it has a great handle. I convexed mine and its great. One of my favorite bushcraft knives is the gary wines bushcrafter made by LT Wright.

No not had any chipping under normal use. I did chip an f-1 pro beating it through a piece of steel. But it is a very tough steel for normal usage. It's one of my favorites. It will not disappoint
