So I'm gonna focus on the fact that Miles is a pretty funny dude. I don't watch a whole lot of his movies but he was great in this interview. Made it more interesting than Jimmys usually dumb questions. I've never thought of him as a bad actor, I think he just has bad luck with roles.

He has some pretty witty humour in most of the movies he does. He's not a bad actor really, it's just that he gets put into this hole of playing the same style character all the time. He is just really good at playing that character at least.

I like how Miles decided to approach that story and over exaggerate things to make it seem as insignificant as it really is. Were he not a movie star, there's really nothing worth attention. I mean, he's done the right thing but what he did seem kind of obvious and most people would have done the same.

The show isn't entirely improvisational. They all know what's going to happen, and how on the show, but it's up to them in the heat of the moment to elaborate and make it a great interview. That's what talk shows are. Jimmy is supposed to laugh as a respectful interviewer, and it's probably written on the script. And as the interviewer, Jimmy has more information on what's at hand than the person he's interviewing. So the interviewee might have the most authentic laugh; that's just because they're not really in on the pacing of the script. Jimmy is. He has to follow it. Notice how he'll often ween people off of certain topics in order to get back on topic? That's to advance the script. You can't call him out for having a fake laugh, whenever that's his job. Fake or not, it is his job to display emotion during interviews to make it feel more personal. So everyone needs to chill out with the "that fake laugh tho" comments.
