Man you the real MVP. This is STILL a problem in 2022, and this fix STILL works too. Edit: I am playing on Series X, and this does in fact still work. Just instead of going to your dashboard, quit out and end the session.

I never had an issue with this my first like 5 plays, but some reason after that I get this bug EVERY time I play The Pitt, and this worked, so thank you a lot. Grew up playing it on my 360, play it on my xbox one now. As for the 2 down the pipe after the fence, there's always the glitch to save right before hitting the ground and load that save to avoid fall damage, but takes longer imo.

Still works to this day! 2021. I had to abandon a perfect playthrough because I scoured the internet looking for a solution in 2015. Somehow I never found this but it was resolved in minutes.

DUDE I SWEAR TO GOD YOURE A LIFESAVER! I’ve played f3 so many times but this is the first time I’d ever encountered this glitch and it was driving me crazy as I’m trying to finally get the achievement for collecting every ingot. This fix worked the first time I tried it on Xbox one S!

If you're an xbox one user and just experienced this, like myself, then what you want to do is clear the cache. It's found in the actual settings menu. That should fix it right up! Thanks for making this video as well. I wouldn't have known to clear my cache in the first place without this video.

Still works in 2022, series x. Just be sure to go to dashboard, quit out the game, then keep holding Y while you load in. 10/10 video

Thank you so much man, I'm playing on a series x and I was worried it was a fps issue, this solution worked first try even after 9 years

I was doing a playthrough on Very Hard with no companions, taking advantage of no glitches, and attempting to complete every mission with not a single death. I did all the main game quests, the Brotherhood and the Outcasts DLC. If I was able to pull it off, I was going to do it again, full game, but record and upload it probably in 1-2 hour segments. I made it to this then fell through the fucking roof. You can imagine my disdain. Thank you. I did end up getting careless shooting the Fat Man at an Overlord after that and killing myself anyway, and fucked up the spaceship battle on Mothership Zeta anyway (it was too long since I played the game and forgot I had to hit the generator switches to get the shields and weapon back online) so I’d have blown it anyway.

thank you so much for having this video up, kept dying trying to do some parkour jumping to get to the last 4 ingots. was ready to just give up and leave with 96 ingots.

*UPDATE OCTOBER 2021* I can personally confirm this works on the Xbox One & Xbox Series X Backwards compatibility. As soon as you begin to fall, hit guide, home, close current app (the game), start it again, hit continue, AS GAME IS LOADING, HOLD Y!!! If done correctly, you'll load where the glitched wall started.

I just started over I can't wait to try this. I've only ever gotten past this once on 360. I jumped over the fences on the right side of that roof and jump down on things like the first aid kit in the far back with no floor and run on pipes and jump from round thing to round thing. I got it once. Years ago thanks Soo much brother.
