Yeah no, +10 DR is meaningless. Considering how much damage most robot enemies do in Automatron, that will reduce the damage you take by maybe 5 or 6 tops. And when enemies are hitting you for 70-100 damage per hit even with 300+ DR (ballistic weave ftw), that 10 extra DR is nothing.

Combine that with either rad powered or unyielding legendary pieces and you get a build with most special stats over 20.

nah son you are imbalanced when you have < 20% health. the safety would be curie's perk. just look at the perks from you perk chart and legendary items that has dmg resist. sprinting or standing still gives you more dmg resist. then you have rad >250 rad to lock your health at max 20%. ghoulish perk and sun powered should take care of your health. then you can also beef up your health with meds and items so that 20% isnt 50 hp but rather 200 hp. so no one shots, annoyingly high fmg resist. max regen, super crits and dmg bonus. 20% doesnt mean one shot. it means you one shot them

World of Tanks Blitz taught me, that it‘s smart to go for the weaker opponents first.

Suprisingly Piper has the 3rd best carry weight out of all companions. (without Inspirational) I tested all companions and Strong has the best carry weight with 278 Ibs, Dogmeat with 150, and Piper with 146 Ibs. Yes, I said Dogmeat. Wtf bethesda? But with Automatron you can make a sentry bot with 520 carry weight lol.

+Trampflick The first thing to know about easily maxing affinity is that there is a kind of cooldown period (so if you do an another they like, and then do it again 2 seconds later, the second action won't boost affinity). The easiest way to get past this is either to wait or quicksave and load. 1. Danse: pretty easy, just get into power armour, but be aware you can't reach max affinity until doing a quest for the Brotherhood called "Blind Betrayal" 2. Deacon: Likes hacking and lockpicking. 3. Piper: Likes lockpicking. 4. Preston: Likes it when you mod weapons. 5. Codsworth: Likes you modding weapons. 6. McCreedy: Likes sarcasm and you generally acting like a mercenary (things like theft, taking morally questionable missions and asking for more money, but dislikes truly cruel actions like murdering innocents). Must do his side quest "Long Road Ahead" to get max affinity. 7. X6-88: Likes hacking, modding weapons and getting into power armour. 8. Curie: No real repeatable actions such as lockpicking. Likes players who are nice and helpful in quests. Must do her side quest "Emergent Behaviour" to get max affinity. 9. Cait: Likes you using chems (but this will change after her personal quest), picking locks and taking off your clothing (also asking for more money for quests). Must do her side quest "Benign Intervention" to get max affinity. 10. Valentine: Likes hacking and most selfless acts. Must do his side quest "Long Time Coming" to get max affinity. 11. Hancock: Likes chem use and when you get naked (and building up settlements). 12. Strong: A real bastard to level up unless you are evil (extort people for money, kill innocents etc) and/or a cannibal. 13. Dogmeat: can't have is affinity raised and no companion perk. If you want something more detailed, I recommend checking out Fallout wikia, they have detailed lists on the pages about each companion.

Trampflick Nps... but yeah, Strong is a pest if you don't want to be a cannibal, want to lockpick and don't want to be a psychopath. Checkout the Fallout wikia page on him, but it seems like it is mostly doing questionable quests, intimidation and asking for more money for quests.

It depends on the patches and DLC you download. I bought the GOTY edition and he's still broken. Somewhere there's a list of what you can/can't download to keep the 2,000% bonus.

PA with the lone wanderer perk is a beast. For me my build it look like this (Melee run and gun) S 9(use special book to make it 10. Pick pain train, this perk is great but the main reason for me is it's so fucking fun using this perk. My build focus on not using a settlement and go homeless so I put 2 points on strong back) P 1(perception bobble head for rifle man) E 4(for Chem resistance, Melee build without blitz suck when it came to fighting a mob so use a lot of chem to null this disadvantage) C 3(for lone wanderer PS.fuck Preston and his settlement) I 9(for nuclear physicist to prolong fusion cores life span and chem perk which is important for this mode because you can craft antibiotic, the last rank of this perk will make jet last for 45 seconds) A 1(Because you don't wanna stealth so fuck agi along with Preston and his settlement) L 1( as you can see 1 agi=no vat) The reason behind 1 agi is because VAT eats fusion core alive don't use frequently. My build focus mainly on Melee as you can see but sometimes you have to use a gun)

it's a glitch. it doesn't need to be nerfed it needs to be patched.

So you complain that it's too good and needs a nerf, yet you abuse it and use it 100% of the time. I think power armor's OP and could be nerfed, i've used it like twice.

+Thinking-Ape If you power game on survival its piss easy and there is so many ways to do that. Best way to play this game is to avoid stuff like +20% damage or broken legendary weapons on survival... Until your character levels too high and becomes godly anyway.
