If you use Macready's Duster coat instead of the driftor outfit, you can give it ballistic weave and bring up those resistances while still maintaining that old western look and feel

Tip: instead of the drifter outfit, use MacCready's Duster instead. It will still make you look like a awesome cowboy, and will still let you use ballistic weave on it.

I can't wait to try one of these builds! It was so stressing making choices but now I can pick a build and finally beat the game. I played for a long time on PS4 but my build was all over the place. My settlements we're way to filled with uselessness to. Thanks for the hard work in making these builds videos!

You can use Dogmeat and still get the benefits of the lone wanderer perk.

No lie this is one of my all time favorite builds, by lvl. 20 I was able to mo down anything in my path

Right now I'm playing like a gunslinger/diplomat build. So fun and keep up the good work guys.

Getting back into FO4, giving this guy a try. I found myself liking having Critical Banker 1 and FLC 1 swapped in my early game. Having an extra critical in my pocket REALLY helped more than an occasional refilled crit meter. Granted, I was playing a bit more carefully, early on, as I'm more used to bulky builds with heavy arms and armor. So I was being more picky with my crits at first.

Made this build and amused that Cogsworth recognizes Roland Deschain as a speakable name.

You can get a .44 Cal pistol in 5 mins after ateping out of the Vault. East of Sanctuary there's a water clearing unit with one inside of it.

Just got a ps4 after having sold mine a while ago, had to get fallout 4 and look up yalls build! Loved the chemist, now ima try the gunslinger! Thanks in advance for the fun I will have with it lol

Later on in the story, the battle of bunker hill is a great mission to find .44 ammo if you side with the institute / brotherhood, every railroad heavy there has a .44 pistol as their weapon with about 15 rounds on each corpse

If you use the deliverer then you can get alot more critical hits, due to its legendary of using less AP in vats, and it only uses 10mm ammo which is much less rare. On top of this, you can compensate for the damage with sandman, making a very powerful pistol that provides stealth opportunities.

Thanks for this - just completed a run with this build. Lots of fun - all about those juicy crits! Only downsides, lack of lockpicking ability made things a bit frustrating and also it would have been nice to have maybe a point or two towards a secondary non-pistol weapon perk. Other than that though, great build!

Great build guys and really fun and powerful. I was able to kill all the Raiders in Nuka World at level 53, I admit I wasn't expecting to have to kill all of them but it was fun when it started.

I know this vid is old, but I wanted to say that McCready outfit also works well and you can even work in armorer to use ballistic weave. This build has gotta be the best I've ever used. Lots of fun

i know this is years ago but i would start out with one more point in strength and one less in luck. if you get the strength bobblehead you can now make ballistic weave and you can always get the luck bobblehead to push luck to ten.

You can use Dogmeat with this. He doesn’t disable the lone wanderer perk, and can bite enemies to increase VATs hit chance.

Favourite build along with the sharpshooter, although I did adapt both of them slightly to my preference

Holy Crap I have't seen FudgeMuppet since last year!

I highly suggest using dogmeat a lot because he doesn't affect lone wanderer so you can get lone wanderer bonuses and dogmeat, and he fits the play through very well. Also attack dog increases vat chance.

You can use the deliverer as a good back up pistol to Kelloggs pistol the ammo is easy to find and it has a great vats effect

Please do a Synth/ courser build.

Haven't been subbed very long and I have no idea if you'll even see this, but just thought I'd say that I took the ideas from your gunslinger and sharpshooter builds and put them together in my own "cowboy" build. anywho, many thanks for the videos that influenced this decision and keep up the good work :)

Playing through this build, I have found that using the Righteous Authority as a pistol is good. You just need to find laser rifles with great modifications. It doesn't fit the aesthetic as good but the gun is very good. I have also used Kellogg's outfit because it provides better protection.
