Uh, ESO, Brooks admits to being a synth and is very open. He knows he's a synth, and he says it if you do Acadia missions.

Yeah, if memory serves, just after you talk to DiMA for the first time, you get options to do quests for Faraday (to retrieve some lost drives) and for a courser synth -- Chase, I think. If you talk to Chase, she tells you that there's a synth arrived from the mainland, but it didn't report at the right time, and she'd like you to track it down. She tells you to talk to Brooks, and gives you his Institute designation that you can use to verify that you're on the up and up, and the quest proceeds from there.

Brooks knows that he is a Synth. He is Arcadia's synth contact person (he is the first contact for new synths that arrive to far harbor). If you do side quests for Arcadia the former courser lady sends you out to look for a missing synth and tells you to begin by speaking to brooks and what his designation is so that he knows your a friendly.

If you guys do this mission with valentine there are interesting dialogues that come with it…. I’m sure no one will see this but dima and valentine are “brothers” the only two of there kind and they were made by the institute together!

Replacing the high confesser is the best ending , u get a unique marine armor chest peace which has a base of +15 energy and physical resistance and it increases with rads

ESO, Brooks is a well known synth, he is allied with Acadia and Allen Lee knew he was a synth, too. Also, I wish there were more and better endings to Far Harbor. You should cover the Railroad ending to it soon, too.

Brooks works with dima as seen in a quest you do for chase (can't remember which) that's were his synthetic (synth) names originates from hope it helps

Because, I sided with the Institute, I had another option, one I made sure Dima was aware of early on. I'm fine replacing the High Confessor. However, if Dima decides to go off the reservation again, I could always let Justin Ayo off his leash and send in my Coursers to reclaim Dima and every other synth there. I like to think in my version of the story Dima knows this and will therefore behave. He knows that a single word from me could have coursers coming out of thin air to throw a net over the whole thing. In my solution, no one dies, except maybe Dima. Avery is safe. Dima is stopped. Of course I completed the main quest and got the girl home safe, so it's impossible for her to get caught in the crossfire.

There's a third ending where the only person that dies is the High Confessor. Where there's peace between Acadia, Far Harbor, and the Children of Atom. You just need to accept DiMA's request to kill the High Confessor and replace him with a synth that will be peaceful to Far Harbor. That's the good and the best ending in my opinion because there's peace between everyone.

I mean, not trying to be rude or anything because I love your videos, ESO, and because this DLC came out last year, but this technically isn't all the endings. Only 2 of them. There's 3. Just thought I'd point it out.

You can actually get this ending without killing Tektus, by convincing him to leave of his own accord, through a red speech check. Still, Tektus kind of deserves it. He wants to kill an entire town just for living on so-called sacred ground that he doesn't even intend to use, and only doesn't because he doesn't know how. As paranoid and misguided as DiMA is, he ultimately has the whole island's best interests in mind. He knows the catastrophic loss of life that would result in either of the Children of Atom or Far Harbor getting their way, and wants to prevent it. His ending is the most peaceful way of actually solving the problem - if he's executed, the town and the cult are still at each other's throats ready to wage war at a moment's notice.

Oh, and of course there's the option of blowing up the Nucleus (either by launching the missile yourself or by convincing Tektus to), turning off the condensers and letting the town die or both, but they both lead to lots of death. I think Far Harbor handles factions much better than the base game. You don't have to side with anyone and you can destroy one, two, all or none of them. How interesting could it be to perhaps negotiate peace between the Minutemen and the Institute? To use Liam Binet's original plan for the Railroad and leave the Institute alive? Convince the Brotherhood to join forces with the Railroad against their common enemy?

i went with the peaceful ending where all the factions agree to keep a new peace. it always pissed me off so much that the fallout4 ending had you pick one side and kill every other faction, so fucking stupid, I hate it so much I have deliberately not finished the fallout 4 campaign.

You don't have to kill all of them. There is a way to end with the Institute being the only destroyed faction.

ReviveMonkey is that so? I'll have to look into that But even so, say whatever else you want about the institute but they're effective. The Institute has unlimited clean water, energy, highly advanced technology even by pre war standards like teleportation and they even have pre war grass and vegetables growing and have successfully cloned/genetically engineered extinct and rad mutation free animals. The idea of blowing all that up and wasting it is just appalling.
