try not maximise fps over 100 otherwise the game will be broken like turbo mode. so far i stay at 82fps no broke for now. (no mod) just using load accelerator file.

The dialogue and game overall is slightly fast when you have over 60 frames.

i asume is the borderless got performance issue bug. if you switch back to borderless you will bottleneck the game

Problem is if you cross the 85 fps limit game become FASTER AND FASTER with higher fps that broke game code and all NPC and CHARACTERS MOBS get SPEED BOOST on runing shoting and TALKING while quests ;] 85 its the limit for now till moders give us another High Fps Psychics mod

I use Radeon trying for the limit 57-61 FPS in low graphic and windowed mode but FPS drop still occur.

you must enter full screen mode. windowed mode bottleneck performance stuck on 40fps or 55fps

i have like 150 fps now , but the game goes to much fast how to fix this?

if you don't care long loading screen just turn on V Sync or other software lock fps to 60-82fps. maybe 85-90fps since you can test. try not go over 100fps above the game, it will become turbo mode if hit certain amount of fps. you can stay in 82FPS. that is good spot for me. some people use high fps fix physic mod. but i don't use mod. i fix it up a bit complicated 1: i set my monitor 164hz 2: Nvidia Control panel turn on Triple Buffering which will make your game capture 82fps with 164hz(fps performance half of the Hz from monitor) 3: this is the only way for me using Loading Screen accelerator file without turn on V-Sync or the file won't work if VSync on.

I'm not sure yet but I'm playing with HD Texture i know that it's killing my fps. since i have to use load accelerator file to speed boost loading screen at the same time you can't cap fps because the mod. and for some reason my fps automatically cap on 82 without using any software problem auto solve lol!

if you are not using loading accelerator mod go download MSI Afterburner and force the game cap at 82FPS

@@jrsilver7683 Haha, whatever works! I'm not using any mods but I found out how to cap it to whatever you desire. NVIDIA Control Panel > Program Settings (It's beside "Global Settings") > Select program "Fallout 4 (fallout4.exe)" > Scroll down to "Max Frame Rate" Set to 82FPS or whatever desired

make sure uninstall all mod > verify the folder make it clean version and try enter the game with full screen HD Texture also killing fps but not much as your case.

double check if Nvidia Control Panel or other software like MSI Afterburner are lock up 3fps for the game or not.

Appreciate the tips mate, just installed the game for the first time today also just recently reinstalled windows so I wouldn't have any programs in the background. Have tried verifying integrity as well, guess I'll try reinstalling to see if that works...

try double check nvidia control panel (Max Frame Frate) are set to 20fps or not. make sure enter the game with full screen.

@@jrsilver7683 I get horrid FPS drops when I'm outside the city or anywhere near buildings. I have done everything right including Shadow distance god rays etc and capped the FPS to 60 and I have a 3060 also

@@jrsilver7683 I managed to fix it bro it's because I had the fallout 4 hd texture mod on 🤦 I unfavorated it so I didn't know if it was that lol I get a solid 120fps now

@@paddyg3389 yea the HD mod kill my fps from 140-160 to 80fps now but i don't mind tho hahaha...as long as the game no broke turbo mode imma good.
