This is an awesome take on a Medieval Castle. And your use of multiple buildings and courtyards makes excellent defensive sense. Get through the gatehouse to the first courtyard and it becomes a killing ground. Get through the Great Hall/Armory/Prison area and or the Art Gallery and you hit another open killing ground before the main Keep. You have incorporated all the Great Halls, Salons, Quarters, residences found in any major castle. Bravo! Take this video to any Medieval Studies professor and they will applaud.

An harbor at egrets tours would be cool. Perhaps a shanty town build that has a pirate flag to reference the pirates at spectacle?

My friend you have truly outdone yourself... You took my challenge and boy did you run with it!!! You are the undisputed master of castle building! Good news. Because you have enclosed all of the buildings in a curtain wall (the big thick one that completely surrounds the rest of the complex, that is officially a castle in its entirety! And it is simply GORGEOUS!!! When we came through the doors and you panned up at around 24:30-ish my instant reaction was, "WOW!!!" And it was genuine awe! You have created a masterpiece. That double waterfall with the bridge between; as you crossed that I was imagining myself spending hours there simply listening to the water. And I did a smile at 35:45 when I spied the signature item standing there in all its glory. It is fair to say that you met my challenge in utilizing as much of Spectacle Island as is practical, and then some with the docks around your ships. Oh that's another point I wanted to raise! I loved the cinematic entrance on the deck of the sailing ship! That was a delightful way to start your tour and a wonderful taster of what was to come. You have well and truly exceeded my expectations in creating this quite simply incredible edifice! Bravo my friend, bravo! ❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks! I was both excited and frustrated while building this, but super happy with the end result. As for the opening, I finished the build a few weeks ago and kept trying to think of ways to make it pop even more, and we'll there ya go!

@@spoonerdee personally I am thrilled with just how beautifully it turned out! Specially given the issues you have had in previous castle builds with things going wrong and graphics glitching and stuff. The minor glitching you had this time was a wonder to see given how gigantic that build is.

@dwarf_nz483 Yeah it actually went smoothly, all things considered. Most issues I had were my own doing (building from both ends). Game wise, the only issue I had was the graphics smearing/trailing here and there lol.

@@spoonerdee I have been mulling it over in my head for a while now, sorting through the jumble of thoughts of how big and grand the whole thing is, and I just wanted to say that that Great Hall you made, the first big one with the four-way fireplace, is magnificent. The Great Hall was traditionally the "public face" of the castle, where most of the big events happened and largely the only part of the castle most guests would ever see. The fact that you went minimalist on the decorations is actually a perfect choice. You have ended up with a Great Hall that is elegant and classy, just the sort of effect you want to impress casual visitors to your magnificent edifice.

That’s the best opening yet! You had me🤣! This was a spectacular build, the waterfalls and courtyard! It was worth all the finagling!!! Award wining castle built for a king! I had no idea this particular king hated zebras so much?! Very funny! Man, you’re good! 👏💕

This is incredible, great use of all that space! I'd love to see your spin on Boston airport, possibly a full revamp which turns it into a fully functional airport and sticks to the Brotherhood theme, or it could be the home to the Minutemen Air Force! :)

@ReeseandDOGGaming on PC, in workshop mode, I turned off object highlight in place everywhere, then used console command TCL (no clipping). Then I picked it up and walked. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

I have a random predwyn east of the Atom Cats garage... Just floating there No idea which mod put it there. And the BOS predwyn is laying in peices around the Boston airport

@@wesss9353 I had a Predwyn settlement years ago on my ps4. It put it east over the water next to Sanctuary.
