Another comment on another reaction video said that Max telling Thaddeus he might be a ghoul could be a red herring and what the chicken doc actually gave him was FEV and he is becoming a super mutant instead. Kind of makes sense since we haven't seen a live super mutant on screen yet.

Thaddeus same deal, Thaddeus obviously was going to remain "loyal" to the brotherhood and snitch on Maximus. Both scenarios he likely would die. A lot of people try to say he dumped Int. He may be low Int, but his biggest weakness to me is his Charisma/Communication skills. Examples: 1. Squire Dane injury interrogation - sounded sketchy and nervous until his final lines which likely saved him. 2. Radio call with brotherhood after Titus death - failed to explain Yao Gui attack and Titus fate. Though this would still might have gotten him punished because of recent Dane incident and death of said Titus. Brotherhood are stone cold. 3. Lucy interaction until he gathered his courage and owned up to his lie, pulled off the firm tone of voice he did during Dane injury interrogation. Though his lack of communicating his thoughts clearly may well be due to "int dump" , but he's obviously street smart, see bridge encounter. 🤙🏾

8:08 I agree, this is pretty terrible of him. But he's probably delirious from pain and his job at this point. He's been on that foot for hours if not days and is running on adrenaline/an empty tank. He didn't want the dog following him, and that was the easiest method. Not defending his actions, just that there's a bit more context to it for sure.

I'm of the belief that Thadeus isn't turning into a Ghoul as ghouls are created when certain people are exposed to large doses of radiation, What i think the Doc gave him is FEV and Taheus is turning into a Super Mutant. Would be a cool way to introduce non-Fallout fans to Super Mutants.

You'll want to talk to everyone in Shady Sands buy a rope from the gate guard person (you can barter with nearly anyone), get Ian the Companion (guy with leather jacket and blue jeans with long hair in the first map section), talk to the guy in the southwest of the first map zone to learn about Antidotes, go to the right side map (at the edge of map there's a border color. red means exit, green means another area of this map) There is a guy by the crops that you need to talk to with the guy by the farm on the right-screen map, and make sure to ask him what he does and have at least 40% science skill Look up a tutorial on controls -- right clicking is your best friend in Fallout 1 and 2. Once you've talked to everyone in Shady Sands and have Ian and a rope, talk to the gate guard you got the rope from and have him take you to the rad scorpion den. Go through, kill, and save often. Hidden on the ground (VERY difficult to see if you don't know what you're looking for) are some items like armor piercing 10mm rounds. It's towards the southeast part of the cave. From there your first jaunt will be back to Shady Sands to make antidotes, and heal the guy in the back room where you got the antidotes for experience (right click the body, click the weird face mask-like icon, and select the antidote). Then head to Vault 15 to the East of Shady Sands, I believe. From there you should have a good handle on what to do.

27:03 Had he not been a Brotherhood of Steel member who had all the materials in that giant pack, including Stimpaks, yeah it would have been rotting. It is easy to surmise that he was using Stimpaks, or at least one, to help with the healing. It just wasn't shown to save runtime.

spoilers. . . . yea i def thought it too lol thats good acting, the way his face went from happy go lucky to its time to get to work is perfect. i didnt like the char at 1st but now i see its all park of the persona and its playing out great lol haha i love low int char builds and one being in PA is fun, he def cant work on it, no repairs or anything himself but uses it anyways lol he gonna make such a great raider later on. wait what? thats really dogmeat? i guess mam urphy was right, he finds those who needs him and then moves on, "he is his own man" as she would say haha neat, love the throw back.
