Remember, Cooper fought in the Anchorage war, he knows those flaws. Which makes me ask: why was he so easy on Maximus in Filly? He knew how to easily kill someone in PA, but he didn't. Is it because he saw how green Max was, and decided to just toy with him and spare him? Perhaps because Maximus seemed to only be trying to protect, and wasn't after him? I don't know. If someone figures this out, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Maximus is not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, it's true. But I think the actor did an amazing job portraying Max's inner conflicts, and innocence (or childishness). Seriously, they picked great actors for every role. I'd hope that Max would understand that Lucy would only leave him if she had no other choice (which she didn't, because Brotherhood). He knows her vault, and she said 'find me' in a previous episode. His struggle now is whether to go all in with the Brotherhood, or try to advance and take them down from within. He clearly has the Idiot Savant perk, so I'm hoping he had a moment of insight, and since Lucy accepted him, even after he confessed all of his failings, he won't abandon or go against her.

I think neither Lucy nor the Ghoul is the "companion." For the first time in Fallout history, we have two-player co-op!

Not sure if mentioned, but the reason Moldaver waited this long was due to the cold fusion. She was about to get the cold fusion and she needed the codes. Now she has a purpose, and she knows EXACTLY where a Vault-Tech Exec is located.

Maximus had to stay knocked out. You can only have one humanoid companion at a time. Seriously tho, Maximus will show the branch of the main quest if you join the BoS.

So "Lee Moldaver" is fake name, her real surname (pre war) is Williams (ep5 outro there is Kate Williams, writer of NCR book, it might be her), and she likely lied in the end, cause when she heard Lucy is on her way, she decided to use that (if Lucy gets there), and she made it all look personal, and quick, while Betty was overseer 33 before Hank was, and also Vault 31 and Bud, etc. Also 2277 people (not just Rose) from 33 started going out, then 31 staged cover up "great plague", recovered what could, the rest proclaimed "starved" in 2277 "plague" (including Rose), and 5 yrs after Shady Sands nuked, where we saw Max-fridge Indiana Jones call back, but distractions to side, Indiana only hid in the fridge, cause had time, cause he KNEW, so some people in Shady knew? Was it a nuke or reactor (test) meltdown, or conventional battle (from which people hid) connected to BoS being there? Also, knowledge and capabilities of BoS are distracted from by "lowest grunt" perspective (Max, Dane, Tadd), but in ep 1 we saw it all goes from The Commonwealth, BoS with full intel, their own vast resources, accross continent operations, fully independently of all others. Also little details like scanning the head for the thing, instead poking around hoping to find "what ever", means BoS knows exactly what it is and what it does, and that connects to the Enclave, cause Barb is in Vault Tec, while member of Enclave likely (other corporate heads on the meeting were just corporate heads, including Bud), and Barb's division of Vault Tec bought Moldaver's company that did research on Cold Fusion, now, it would explain why GECKs (cold fusion powered, yes?) are very limited and only few Vaults have them, while BoS talks about making the World into "Eden or whatever", as Max interpreted "teachings" or what he heard, considering his ineligence stats, charisma and speech skills 😅 So, BoS getting this Cold Fusion, directly by taking Wilzig, or tracking who ever (Lucy, Ghoul, etc) taking it to where ever (Observatory, Vault, Enclave base, etc), was inevitable, thus show tried to make it less obvious by "lowest grunt" perspective, they also used to have low lever "player" who levels up as "game" progresses..

in the games there are entire buildings powered by the fusion cores (although most vaults didn't use this but used geothermal or traditional nuclear fission reactors instead). The reason the power armor runs out is it uses much more energy then simply lighting a building. It is entirely possible the core powers the whole vault. You find cores that still have charge left in fallout 4, despite them being hundreads of years powering whatever building you find them in. They are not infinite but they can power a building or vault for a long time. Its weird because before Fallout 4 the suit cores never ran out either. I think they added that in 4 so they could give you power armor earlier without ti ebing too OP. Honestly I think its a dumb mechanic. I much preferred 1 and 2 where it took a while tog et power armor, but once you had it, it just worked forever. Same in 3, but in 3 they nerfed its benefits (gave an agi penalty to go along with the str bonus).

Nice, wasn't sure if you'd finish this. I liked the show, I just wish they used CG for their action scenes. The lone suit they had for live action never looks heavy enough or convinces me it's not some guy in plastic cosplay clunking around. The chest plate thing is dumb considering that The Ghoul fought Maximus for like 15 minutes a few episodes ago. The "I can't see!" from a knight is even dumber when they all have big spotlights on their helmets. Still can't wait for season 2.

Official stats has Max Int as equal to the ghouls. It's his charisma and speech stats that are low. Haters like to say Intelligence, but that just shows their low perception. Judging by all the negativity yall throw him, this fits. Reaction was annoying to watch. Lucy made many stupid moves. Ps. Max saved her 3-4 times during this season.
