That's good feedback actually, might consider doing things a bit differently coz I too noticed we miss things due to talking, but overall I personally dislike videos where people just sit and laugh for 2 minutes slap it together and upload, feels so lazy.. I want to hear what people have to say and what they think etc, do you agree on that? :D

We are new to "reactions" this used to be a fan edits channel, I'm a film editor by traid, we have an actor, costume designer etc in the channel, so we are somewhat competend in content creation. hahah But like everything, it takes time to learn and master, and feedback is a big part of that!

@@CouchPatroll Disappointed at first (due to hype and unrealistic expectations) but liked it much more upon a 2nd watch. It’s difficult to recapture the magic of the early CK seasons. All the actors look so much older (both OG & new) - only 2 years transpired on the show timeline but 7-years IRL.

@@CouchPatroll tbh season four feels like one long pilot episode for season 5. The finale however it one he'll of a set up for season 5 and makes up for the lack of excitement for season 4.

Indeed, it doesn't quite effect them as us normal people (otherwise they would look really off) but they do have the whole maddness issue, and also They are sometimes born scaled, eyeless, with wings, with holes where their hearts should be. :D But they for sure are not normal, a lot of things about them don't really match up but that's perhaps something we can discuss in a future video, and Greetings from I guess.. I can agree with him wanting the throne, I just dislike the fact he tried to kill his brother when thousands of soldiers were watching what happend, he can realistically kill his brother and blame rhaenyra for it at any time while they are both in kingslanding, though one can argue he saw an opportunity and he took it. I think the whole "pink dread" in season 1 was good set up and so is the scene you pointed out, my issue is more with how and when and not so much why. I like it overall regardless, there are as you said, other issues that are much worse.. Again the first thing that comes to mind is episode 9 of season 1, that ending.. :( But yeah, great comment! ​@@CouchPatroll The "how" and "when" of Aemond taking his shot at the battle makes the most logical sense though. Aegon is the King. He has the highest level of Kingsguard security with him 24/7, even when he sleeps and after Blood and Cheese the security was even MUCH higher. VERY hard, almost impossible to get away with. So When is Aegon MOST vulnerable ? On dragon back. That's the ONLY time he has no Kingsguard. Perfect for Aemond to take advantage of. Plus he has the perfect built in excuse which is "I was trying to take out Rhaenys, Rhaenys was about to kill Aegon". Even though alot of people have a feeling of what really happened, you'd have to call that explanation a lie to Aemond's face which only a couple people (mayyybe) would be willing to do. If Aemond was willing to pull off a hit on his brother in other ways, it be VERY hard to get away with. Even if he were to blame it on Rhaenyra, how does Aemond know the next time Rhaenyra is going to be in Kings landing ? Aemond didn't even know Rhaenyra snuck in to see Alicent. Aemond wouldn't even assume she would ever come, and even if she snuck in, how would Aemond know ? She's not going to publicly announce it. It would just be very complicated to pull off. Plus from a writing perspective I don't think Aemond should be portrayed as a slimey sneaky hide in the shadows and plot assassinations in secrecy type of character that physically weaker characters like Larys or Little finger are. Aemond is portrayed as strong, bold, and crazy and lighting up Aegon on dragon back in broad day light suits his character much better than secretly taking him out in the shadows if somehow magically the kingsguard weren't there. I think Aemond should NOT necessarily love the idea of being a disloyal brother or kinslsayer to the point where he couldn't sit there and premeditate a plan to take out Aegon BUT to openly take the opportunity that spontaneously happened in the moment on the battlefield, in broad daylilght, in front of everyone BUT with a built in excuse to try and roast Rhaenys while Aegon was there suits Aemond's character more IMO. It was just a decision he made in the moment. Plus happening very suddenly during a huge dramatic dragon battle makes it WAY more entertaining for the audience for it go down that way. That's why from all angles it just makes more sense to write it that way. But yeah, great conversation !

@@zjk6203 the kingsguard? Same dudes that bump into each other? Who agon put in post coz they are his drinking companions? Or the one busy with tge queen? There are multiple ways to get rid of him, easiest being poison, then blaming the enemy.. done. So I can't agree with it being hard if you are already close to the King, the rest I agree with, but still we are left guessing and questioning this event,not just me I see plenty of people are having some issues with this moment, the army was watching, word spreads, soon enough all the small folk doubt you and they do matter idk why they aren't considered in this moment, but him wanting the throne makes sense he always felt superior and is much like Daemond and his own kin. @@CouchPatroll I hear ya BUT you have to remember Aegon being injured at Rooks rest comes from the books. In the books the Kingsguard aren’t Aegon’s incompetent drinking buddies. Nor is Cole sleeping with Alicent at that time. Those were both show creations to make the show more comedic and scandalous And like I said after Blood Cheese security goes up even higher. So like you said, If you REALLY want to change it to a poisoning, I guess you can BUT Do you really want the show to change Aegon getting roasted by Aemond in battle which also helped make the most dramatic event on this season so far ???? To change it to Aegon simply being taken out by some poison ??? You’re lowering the entertainment value. Plus Aemond roasting his brother in public like that to the viewer makes Aemond looks way more terrifying than some sneaky poison plot someone like Littlefinger would do. 

Plus like I said, the ultimate reasoning is that Aemond struggles with loving/hating his brother while also fancying himself a warrior. You don’t recognize that Aemond is struggling with that dilemma ? Which is why I don’t think Aemond is at the point yet of wanting to sneakily pre plan in advance the poisoning of his own brother to take his throne. A man struggling like that isn’t sure yet. He’s struggling with his hatred of Aegon but Aegon showing up to ruin the plan followed by Aegon and Rhaenys being perfectly entangled for a 2 birds with 1 stone scenario makes an impulsive Aemond take the shot. Why ? Because it gives Aemond himself a lie to believe in, in order to convince himself to take the shot. Which is that he’s firing at Rhaenys. Even if Aemond only believes that lie for 5 seconds. That’s all a struggling Aemond needs, to take the shot. You don’t think that’s GREAT writing ? 

If you want to look at it from a show angle then If Aemond REALLY wanted to kill Aegon, no it’s not impossible BUT being sure of getting AWAY with no suspicion is very uncertain. Even in the show Alicent AND Cole already don’t trust Aemond. Cole knows Aemond wants the crown because Aemond told him to his face. Alicent in the show automatically suspects Aemond even without Cole saying anything. At least this way Aemond can always say “Well I was trying to save Aemond from Rhaenys”. There’s too many “what ifs” in being caught with a poisoning. Aegon and Rhaenys entangled in front of you in the middle of a battle after he just pissed you off by showing up and ruining the surprise plan is perfect. You just have to say you were trying to stop Rhaenys from destroying Aegon.

 You got to remember Aemond didn't pre plan to take out Aegon at the battle. Him Dracarys'ing both Aegon and Rhaenys was a quick, under pressure, in the moment decision. You could even say it was Aemond's subconscious and emotions that took over for 3 seconds to overpower that love/hate dilemma he had to that point with Aegon. Yes the army was watching. But who’s going to speak up ? Knock on the doors of the red keep and confess ? and potentially get called a liar and get their head taken ? Not worth it at all. Do they REALLY care whether Aegon or Aemond rules ? Those are rich people problems they want no parts of. They're more traumatized from watching the consequences of dragon fire. Plus like I said, everyone from Cole to the soldiers saw Rhaenys tearing up Aegon and Vahgar's flame had to be sent in the direction of both of them. Choosing to believe Aemond was aiming at Rhaenys is a convenient excuse that everyone from Aemond himself to Cole to the soldiers can use to lie to themselves, at least for now. Logical writing right there.

@@zjk6203 Sure it's logical, I just think it's a risk and decission that Aemon wouldn't take on a whim like it's portrayed here. The army wouldn't speak up, but they will know that their new king is a kindslayer, which isn't exactly a good look, you pointed out him being a warrior. I will give an example with GoT season 2, Tyrion wanted Joffrey to be with his men, to show he is no coward etc, the image matters, even more so in war time and what your own soldiers think of you, dragon or not. I pointed out the poisoning as just an easier choice if aemond wanted to get red of his brother, I know very well this happens in the books too. The writing is overall solid, for this episode, it's just previous things they show about aemond's character that bug me. Anyway, I may have overreacted, I really don't mind this moment too much, I just wished they'd have done it a bit differently..it could be more about the directing and editing here than anything else tbh. (I am also a film maker, worked on tv shows etc here in europe, I can say through experience that the page and the final product can be quite differently, the script is writen 3 times, there is the writer, the director and then the editor) so..I wouldn't direclty point to the writing in this case..as it does make sense for the most part. Not completely, in the books it's heavily implied there are still wild dragons but none left in westeros, I don't think they will appear in the other books but bran even dreams about one in ashai, but I agree they are all so stupid for doing this and it's heartbreaking to watch the dragons die..

I HONESTLY think it’s way more effective than even the official trailer (though I know that sounds biased) And I also made a big 40th Celebration-Video some weeks back, that I worked hard on! It’s called “Cobra Kai: The End Of A Legacy”. Both these video’s of mine were also shared by the Cobra Kai creators them selves 🤗🫶

Assuming Season 6 (Part 3) releases in March 2025, it would require 6 or 7 reactions per month to wrap up Season 5 prior to the final 5 episodes.

The plan is to do 2 per week for now, although there could be weeks where we push for more, like 3 or 4 per week but I can't say for certain at this time, we are glad you enjoy it!
