The show is set in LA, and Todd said it's canon with the games. They're also updating Fallout 4 for PS5/Xbox so I'd wait for that if you were to play.

it could be something like : it take 1 or 2 ep for our Ghoul character try to track down a unique udeathclaw for his hunt/bounty, Lucy our main vault dweller encounter one of them when she is helping some settler fed off some creature or raider like a scenario in Fallout 4, when you try to help Preston from raider and then a deathclaw suddenly appear because of a fight draw attention to it , or for brotherhood character, they've been sent to investigate mission for some of their lost contract outpost and they doesn't know that their team has been secretly track down and stalk by an alpha deathclaw, who is a cause of the incident and he and his team need to survive from it..

The TV series is set 200+ years after the nuclear war, the way the nukes were made/used and lots of nuclear power (even nuke powered cars) made *lots* of fallout. That and a special virus made by the US military to create mutants like the Super Mutants and Deathclaws (which got out), lead to many mutations "Fallout New Vegas" has the best stories IMHO and well worth a play :)

This is the first canon continuation of something in a live action setting which has major! Potential and it is being considered fallout 5 because its supposed to take place 9 years after fallout 4 which was on the east coast but this show will go back to fallouts original roots and be set on the west.

The way IMDB has it the main actors have about 4 episodes each. I think they may have Lucy, the ghoul and the guy with the brotherhood on three pov story threads that eventually come together.

I love Fallout so damn much. And while I'm going on cautious about this adaptation, it's cautious optimism because Walton Goggins can do no wrong, and once I saw "From the studio that brought you free 2-day shipping" it was very clear to me that they completely get the tone of the franchise. It's incredibly satirical and anti-capitalist, so throwing that in there was perfect.

He specifically talking about main plot. Most of which are just okay. 4 in particular is subpar. With New Vegas apparently The only one with the main story that's great.

Never played a Fallout game but I did play The Outer Worlds which was created by the same developers. Watching this trailer gave me The Boys, Last of Us, and Mandalorian vibes. I am looking forward to watching this series and I might even start to play the games.

I feel like if we let Amazon do their own thing with full creative freedom, we will get another Halo series. There's more than enough valid source material to stay faithful

they dont need to stick to any souce stories. THe whole point of fallout is the world and lore if they tell a moderatley interesting story and focus on the world it will shine. we will see theyre 50/50 with me for their adaptations so far. for every THe boys and Invincible you get a rings of power.
