I think the Shady Sands library sign is a red hearing. In FO2 Shady Sands is nowhere near prewar cities with skyscrapers which can be clearly seen in the background. I think the crater is that of the destroyed Master’s Cathedral. The location is right (the center of LA) and The Master were another group that wanted to “fix the world”.

That may not be blood being splattered in the vault scenes. It might be the dark red jello mold.

Those background video screens in the vault are some of the only color video players in canon, on a semi related note I have a theory that vault tec uses the bright blue and yellow designs because that combination of colors would show up clearly on a black and white monitor

I think the plot will revolve around Lucy trying to cure some sort of disease or illness outbreak in Vault 33. Some sort of mania? The fighting looks like they suddenly went nuts in there, not just normal anger. Also, the weird substance that guy has and the fact that she's carrying his head, which he injected it into... Also I think the underwear guy is a feral ghoul? Weird walk.

I don't think the shady sands public library sign was meant to indicate that the actual town from fallout was there, I think it's just a nod from a pre war sign. The sign looks too detailed and civliized to be postwar

I am honestly just hopeful that it will be a good show, and still be mostly lore friendly as well.

yeah still think the shady sands sign is just a red herring; the ruins seem too pre-war/too big (for a city that's 3K+ in 2, and 10k-ish by word of god in NV)/and has too many skyscrapers(for a mostly floor level abode/brick buildings), there's no visible defensive walls, and most importantly the location is just wrong (with the Show taking place mostly in the LA area, it would be a hell of a detour to got out to the ruins of NCR city then back again). Like with the care they putting into the rest of it, it would be such a outliner especially when you could just say "NCR city got blow up" instead if that's the goal.

This by far and away the best breakdown of the trailer I've watched. Cannot wait to watch you breakdown the series.

I just realized something, the main BOS character and the knight he’s following have Latin names. Main one is Maximus and we learned from the newest sneak peak that the knight is Titus Now we know that Maximus has beef with a faction and his goal in joining the BOS was to get revenge on the people that hurt him, I was thinking it’d be cool if he was a former Khan but now I’m thinking he might have been part of town or tribe that was controlled by the legion

We don't know what the experiment is for that vault with the pregnant woman - what if it's some sort of "survival of the fittest" battle that takes place in order to earn the right to marry or have children?

I don't think that is the same guy in the cave: from what I know about Hollywood storytelling, the Yao-Guai is going to kill Maximus mentor/Knight, and he will repair the armor to a functional state, don the armor himself, and then go "avenge" his fallen teacher by tracking the Yao-Guai back to it's lair and killing it there.

Maximus sounds an awful lot like a Legion name. Just saying. Would fit well with him wanting to hurt the NCR as well.

Having grown up on Fallout and Fallout 2 seeing Shady Sands done dirty like that hurts. But, as they say, war never changes.

Anyone else ever notice that any vault even vaguely connected to each main protagonist ( other than 76) whether it's it'd be their home vault, where their family came from, or just a random jumpsuit given to us so we'd have some clothes; the vault number is always an OD number? Vaults 13, 21, 101, and 111 are all vaults associated with player characters. Idk maybe I've just been hittin the rad-grass a little more than whats necessary but I doubt it

What if the experiment of Vault 33 is that they are supposed to reenact old movies? Only they don’t know they are movies and are supposed to be “actors” so they are actually attacking each other with weapons.

I think the Vault Tec scientist guy might be affiliated with Vault City, Bethesda has been posting a lot of classic Fallout 1 posts on their instagram as of late and I remember them mentioning Vault City in one of them, there could be a correlation Vault City still exist as a state in the NCR.

Someone pointed out that the Lonesome road ending where you nuke the NCR might he accurate because of Shady Sands But if that occurred and presumably the NCR lost the dam, then what happened with Caesars legion

I think the axalote (spelling wrong lol) creature is a centaur, its mouth is full of human fingers and fallout 1 describes centaurs as 2 or more creatures being dipped in FEV at the same time which fuses them together I could totally be wrong but its a thought

I think the premise of the show might be FEV related. The axolotyl having human fingers seems like they were experimenting and the Institute/vault-tec looking dude injected the results into himself. Maybe they are carrying his dead head around, but i’m also pondering that he could still be alive and talking. It’s possible they could be expanding on FO4 Virgil’s FEV experiments. Idk, i’m getting some real wacky vibes from the trailers.

My theory is that the brotherhood soldier is defective. You never see him with other brotherhood members other than what looks like his origin story. Makes sense to me because no brotherhood members would get involved in that conflict in town. So it looks like he was acting on his own. Also when they are looking in the Crater that seems to me like him pondering what his faction has done to innocent people. Just my guess.

I don’t think the NCR was responsible for what Maximus experienced in his childhood as he could have been from the East. Also, as far as I know, the Western chapter seldom help any outsiders compared to the Eastern chapters.

Something I just took notice is that in the griffith observatory sign there is a Vault-Tec logo in the lower part, almost didn’t catch that because everything in that scene happens too fast, maybe vault 4 or 32 is below the observatory?

Great video, I think you got everything right except that’s not Shady Sands, which if you look at the original maps was no where near a large city or skyscrapers.

The crater... Looks like an underground explosion, just like from Cathedral... . Surface explosions look a bit different. On the other hand, mentioned Hawthorn is probably the one by the walter lake in Nevada (BOS military base, shots with airship in desert), so on the way there from boneyard there are 2 locations, one is sierra mountains range (forest shots with yao guai) and lone pine (supposed shady sands in game) and thus crater can be NCR capital...??? Third possibility is... Well there's an "shady sands" just north of San Diego. And that's where The Glow is.... and.... producers just wanted us to believe that its NCR capital :) After all its not an 2h movie but a 10 (?) episode series with potential for more season's.... There's time for a longer story :) So my bets for this crater are: 1. Masters Cathedral (most likely) 2. The glow 3. NCR capital (unlikely)

I think after the Vegas became independent and the NCR defeated the Legion but with massive casualties. The NCR would have an Economic crisis and eventually collapse with the Brotherhood trying to consolidate power. This is 10 years after fallout 4 so its not too unrealistic that the East Coast Brotherhood would construct another airship and send forces to the West. I believe that the battle at the observatory is the Brotherhood hunting down Guerilla fighters still loyal to the NCR.

Based on points raised in this video i think the show might reveal what still exists of Vault-tec as a corporation.

I can't wait til John Starfield flies in and says to Lucy, "let's get a new water filter or save your dad whatever, so I can afford new armor for my ($2.99) Battle Brahmin!"

2 of the agencies could be references to the 2 we know of in Fallout 3. That being the Regulators who pay for Fingers of 'bad guys' and Littlehorn & Associates who pay for Ears of 'good guys'. Or 4-6 new agencies to the area, depending if these 2 operate that far west.

We have been trying to peice this together on my channel too. A couple of points I can add... You missed another brief clip from Amazon, that shows Lucy with a chainsaw! Most likely she cuts off Wilzigs head and raps it in her yellow blanket. The head is in her blanket not a bag we think. Mr House is in the show, we wondered if it's House that wants Wilzig? We also wonder if House could have destroyed Shady Sands. We think the NCR exiting the building with the female leader are from different scenes. Possibly a flashback. Nolan has hinted at the Lucy wedding as his favorite moment. And that 3 vaults are interconnected. We know 33 and 32 but not sure if 4 is the third. It could be something we haven't seen yet. I wondered if there are multiple scenes in Filly. I struggled to place all the footage together, so I feel we could end up back there multiple times. ( Also it's clearly an extremely expensive set so it make sense to use it more that once ) Lot's of the leaked pictures haven't been seen at all yet. We have an other scene in a vault with as of yet unseen characters ( most likely the open vault you mention, could be 32 or the third vault ) We haven't seen the Red Rocket set at all yet. I'm really looking forward to seeing that. I think the hardest thing to piece together is Lucys journey because of all the outfit changes and the same with Max to some degree too, anyway great job putting this together.
