Fallout: London is a DLC-sized mod for Bethesda’s Fallout 4. As a continuation of the base game, the mod will allow the player to visit the previously unexplored post-apocalyptic environment of London,
As a divergence from previous official titles in the series, Fallout: London is not set in America. Visiting a totally new setting allows for us to explore totally new cultures which have not homogenized with their American counterparts. It also allows us to explore pre-war European history, and the effects the Resource Wars had on the class structured society of pre-war Britain.
Team FOLON® operates as an independent entity responsible for the development of the Fallout: London mod for Bethesda's Fallout 4™ game. We want to emphasize that Team FOLON® is a separate legal entity from Bethesda™, the publisher of Fallout 4™.

@@LoneWanderer101No, I can confirm that FO 4 had less trouble running on Vista than Windows Defender did. Since FO 4 never got flagged as malware by Windows Defender, but Windows.exe and Windows Defender both did.

Oh wow! There's subtle references to British history here that even many Britons wouldn't know! 1:53 - That's the Winchester Round Table, an actual table found in the Great Hall in Winchester today which was supposed to be Henry VIII's idea of King Arthur's table. Naturally, Henry's version was painted in the green/white of the Tudors with the Tudor rose in the middle. 2:29 - The lightning bolts on the posters of the 5th Column are a call-back to Oswald Mosley's British Union of Fascists from the 1920s and 1930s. 4:07 - VIIR, as seen here, will likely stand for Victoria Regina the Second, or (Queen Victoria II). The 'cypher' as its called is the official monogram of the sovereign. 5:01 - That's the Imperial War Museum in North Lambeth. The interior does indeed have aircraft hanging from the ceiling. (These particular ones appear to be a Canberra, a Spitfire and a P-80 Shooting Star). 8:53 - The Roundels are likely based on the 'Mods', a scooter gang of the 1960s that often fought against their rivals, the 'Rockers'. So much that the two became household names and a part of the British rocker subculture. I think they're based on the Mods specifically because they used the distinctive British roundel as their logo. 8:54 - The Jack Tars are named after a slang term for Royal Navy sailors. The Cutty Sark is a museum ship (an old tea clipper) near Greenwich Maritime Museum and the name likely derived from a Robert Burns poem. There's so much more to say, but the point is that the attention to detail for British culture and history is incredible.

Lovely bits of detail. EM-2 a real life " what if " rifle, the EM-2 was about to be adopted into the British forces in the 1950's.....a innovative new design firing a unique and highly effective round that could have revolutionised infantry warfare at the time. However, our erstwhile allies involved politics and we had to cancel the project and adopt the NATO standard round of 7.62 under pressure from America, who then promptly swapped to a 5.56 when it suited them a few years later.

The factions and the lore are so interesting! It’s extraordinary that you were able to keep Fallout’s essence while adapting such a different environment (heck, it’s not even the same country). Though, truth to be told, the moment I heard the word ‘Camelot’, I already knew which faction I would be joining.

I was wondering, however, if Bethesda actually releases a remastered and somewhat fixed version of Fallout 4 this year, like they said they would, is that going to have an impact on Fallout: London.

Depends on how Bethesda release it probably. If its an optional upgrade then FOLON would need to port it at a later date, if its a built in patch however then it might cause issues

@@raymondcroteau 😆 Okay, I agree that some bands really just play standard stuff very fast but you have to admit that bands like Alkaline Trio for example are masters who could tell even some famous metal bands how to play georgeous music without a double basedrum with 10.000 hits per minute. ☝😁

I'm getting a new updated desktop with a 40 series GPU and 32GB DDR5 RAM for this game. Fallout London deserves to be run on high graphics. Can't wait to play it 😁 I am sick and tried of Fallout 4's main story. I'll most likely never go back to it again after this releases. Brilliant work, Team FOLON. Honestly, you guys are awesome. 😎

Remember running The Midnight Ride Fallout 4 on a Vega 64 at 4k maxed getting 50-60fps , I don't think you should have too much to worry about unless these modders have gone crazy 😂

They probably won't have Power Armour, at least not of the style we usually see in Fallout games, as that was something more or less unique to the American military, and which I doubt they gave any of to their allies since it was all needed by the US themselves for fighting China; the Britain of the Fallout world probably did come up with something similar yet different as their own equivalent though, which I thoroughly look forward to seeing 😁 (in a previous Fallout London video there was a brief glimpse of a blueprint on a wall for something military, mechanical and bipedal that sure didn't look like normal combat armour OR American power-armour)

The are pretty different though, the Enclave emerged from remnants of the US government that went into hiding, and so lost control of ruling what's left of the US. The Gentry are different in that clearly the Queen is still alive somehow and though they may have likely lost control of England, they at least maintain some control over much of London, and thus don't have to strike from the shadows like the Enclave. I do love this dichotemy though, the Enclave lost control but act all patriotic as they try to regain control, but they waited so long other smaller new nations or factions formed that they have to fight against, the NCR and Brotherhood of Steel to name 2. THe Gentry on the other hand because they somehow either maintained control or were well equiped enough to regain conteol of most of London means that rather then invading and fighting local factions, the other factions are basically resistance groups tot he Gentry's control of London, this makes for a unique setting compared to Fallout 3 whre the Enclave invade, New Vegas where 2 armies will clash over a city ruled by a prewar businessman, and Fallout 4 where the 3 local factions are either crippled (Minutmen), in hiding and a boogeyman but still present i some degree (Institute), or scattered and acting as a spy organization kind of thing (The Railroad), or just now showing up to start a war for the Common wealith against the Institute (Brotherhood), THe Gentry will be a new unique situation that will be interesting to interact with as they are connected with some of the other factions.

There is another faction who fills the role of the Enclave in this mod. A secret cabal manipulating the other factions from the shadows. The player escapes from their facility during the intro.

Moden combat methods? In Fallout 4 modern combat means punching things with a gas pipe and wearing armor made of... gas pipes... Are you sure it's not about ancient combat methods? You know, like before the war? Anyway, your mod looks and feels fantastic, and I can't wait to play it!

Wow, actually really really interesting factions?! I'm not sure my brain will be able to mesh that with the rest of Fallout, but I'm keen to find out. Also, these trailers are just unreal. I LOVE this dynamic where people create something utterly outstanding to put on their resume, and we get to play it for free. Because yeah, this is very pro, you all should get paid for your work, and I do hope this mod is the ladder to that.
