So is Rich copying what Tate was bitching about? You guys are bitching about kids movies. So does your argument go completely out the window when you’re talking about John Wick he doesn’t have huge muscles. Food for thought a ant can lift like 100 times it’s weight works extremely hard builds insane homes and fights off anything that messes with his boys or his home or his queen. While we’re on the subject of 80s action heroes go watch the documentary bigger faster stronger and go see what happens to 3 Brothers when they became obsessed with getting huge and pumping iron and taking steroids one became a drug addict the other one killed himself and the other one still juices today. Because Hulk Hogan was their hero and Dolph Lundgren from the Rockie movies just said he got cancer from doing steroids. Who the hell looks to fictional characters as their heroes that are not kids?

I think a healthy male would like to be formidable. I think he, like so many of us whether we are healthy or not, would like to know we have what it takes when it counts, when it really matters. Too few opportunities in this life to answer the question, so we live the answer vicariously through a character. A character on screen or a character we fabricate online through memes and starter kits. For some men the greatest existential fight they will ever have for all of their life will be the verbal over a sports team, game, figure. For them, that’s the only metaphysical battle they’ll ever see. That shallowness will leave any man a husk of his potential self.
