@@FamiliarFacesChannel Yeah, Domino's have been here since the early '80s. (and they are absolutely everywhere) We have Pizza Hut and Papa John's too, and apparantly Little Caesars are starting to franchise here too. But Domino's have never used The Noid here strangely.

If you want a description for the series, let's say it's like "Uncle Grandpa meets the Phantom Tollbooth". Why do I call it that? Well, here's the long description: Like Uncle Grandpa, Nilus the Sandman (the character) goes around the world helping first world problem issues of many children, and is even aided by some friends. Like the Phantom Tollbooth, Nilus the Sandman (the series) is a musical cartoon/live-action hybrid series that teaches kids about solving first world problems with critical thinking. Now, about Nilus' friends they are an Anthropomorphic Singing Planet Venus, a Boogie Man that likes to Boogie and Sing (while also not being a villain compared to the Nightmare Before Christmas and Powerpuff Girls incarnations), a Blue Camel who somehow has a lot of free time on his hands, and Pearl the Sassy Southerner Clam. I say Nilus the Sandman would make a great topic for "Familiar Faces", because there's a bit of history to both the name and the character. 1. While not the same type of person as the Greek God of the same name; the name "Nilus" is named after the River Nile, which explains his flowing garb, and why one of his friends is a Camel he rides on in the TV series, as people associate the River Nile with Egypt, which in turn makes people think of deserts and Camels; also, deserts have a lot of sand. The name "Nilus" also affiliates with positive traits like philanthropy, compassion, persuasive reasoning, and spirituality along with being mysterious and unpredictable; traits of which fit in with the titular Sandman character. 2. Being a "Sandman", the show made subtle reference to his origins in bringing good dreams to those around him, by using his magic sand (which he has done for a million years in a thousand different lands); the dreams of which helps encourage the children in the series, as well as the child audience, to face these first world problems head on. I wouldn't know if the series would ever interest you, but if it wasn't for Stuart K. Reilly introducing me to the character, via Long John Baldry's role as the titular Sandman, I wouldn't have realized the #1 Christmas special was taken over by Dr. Robotnik.

I was going to look into that but I was like "ah it's a fan game" and I still said people remember the Noid fondly for the game and for Vinton.

​@@FamiliarFacesChannel While I understand your point for not including Yo! Noid 2 I still think that is important to the Noid legacy. Apart of being a surprisingly good game it's honestly the most relevant thing related to the character from 1990 to 2020, and a lot of younger people (Including myself) that didn't grew up in the 20th century know of the character thanks to it. Also as a legit Noid fan a lot of stuff from that game like the dab button, the soundtrack or the history behind the final boss are a signature of the character nowadays and I feel the Noid "empty" without them. The Noid is still remembered by the ads from the 80's but Yo! Noid 2 was the true rebirth of the character before Domino's came in 2021.

Did you see the Hello Nurse Episode I made 3 weeks ago? I am legitimately asking because KZfaq might pulling some shanagans.

It was the pizza of choice in our house...then came the ritual of grabbing Pizza from Cost Co or Sam's when we went shopping, (which is till fine.) But yeah now I either go to Barro's which is a step up from all big chain pizza or a mall restaurant called Pizza Heaven with is my favorite.

@@FamiliarFacesChannel Sadly we don't have those where I live. Such is the downside of living in a riverside suburbia. I mostly eat Papa Johns. Especially now that they make stuffed crust pizzas which was the only advantage Pizza Hut had over them at the time and now they don't even have that.
