​@@x-men69-96you can drive when you are 16 which is when hormone replacement tharapy is started and the first permanent changes happen. Sex reassignment surgery are typically only done after 18 which is the voting age and the age you can drink in most civilized countries. The only medical intervention done before that is to delay puberty and puberty causes permanent and life changing changes of its own, but im guessing your ok forcing those permanent changes on a child who does not want them.

What are you talking about? Children get all sorts of surgery all the time that makes their life better. As far as sex change surgery that is typically only done when they are 18.

I knew i was trans in kindergarten in the 80s. No one put it in my head i juat knew i was suppose to be a girl. Now i didnt know what that there was a word for it, but i knew that i was different and what i wanted to be. Just because you didn't experience these feelings dosent mean other didn't. I also bet you knew what gender you were in kindergarten too, but it juat matched with how everyone was treating you, so you probably never gave it a second thought. Try telling a young kid they are the opposite gender, unless they are trans they will correct you very quickly because your gender identity forms as early as 4 years old.

Speaker Mike Johnson and Justice Clarence Thomas have dog-whistled state legislatures stating that they plan on revisiting and ultimately overturning Obergefell, Lawrence, and Griswold. If that happens not only will marriage already on the books be affected but gay relationships will be criminalized as will contraceptives. You think you can push hard and have our mental health and body count go up without repercussions. Think again! This conservative movement advocates for reversing decisions that are 50 year precedents and other cases are built off of the framework granted in those cases. If right of privacy really doesn't exist or can be applied to health care, what does that mean about HIPPA? Can the state come in and demand health records like they did at Vanderbilt?

However they also ruled on abortion in 1973 but it wasn't over turned with Dobbs 18 months ago so each state can make their own laws. Justice Clarence Thomas and Speaker Mike Johnson have stated that the 14th amendment doesn't grant that broad of right of privacy. All of the other cases like gay marriage and legalizing birth control are built upon that premise and are now on shaky ground. The dog-whistle was for states to enact or enforce laws against this so the courts could rule in a fact specific case since the court doesn't or shouldn't work off of hypothetical cases. Someone actually has to be harmed or have their rights infringed in order to file a lawsuit. Gender is different from sexuality. I'm a gay male who has had an orchiectomy and uses estrogen as HRT. I present as male with male clothing and am happy. I did it so I stay a twink and am a very active runner which I found difficult with testosterone in my system. I wanted an extension of my boyhood and am almost 50 and look great. Fifteen years ago I started to masculinize after years of mild anorexia and I had to get castrated and go on estrogen. I just couldn't take it yet accept myself as male. I did have to lie to get the hormones and say I wanted a "full transition" whatever that entails. I'm a bit of a black-eye to both communities and I want to find an adult male who is like myself.
