Families follows an evening with Five Families gang member Tyreese Sterling, as he seeks to get revenge on a rival gang, The Ballas for the death of his brother. He aims to only kill the gang member who murdered his brother, but doesn't manage to flee in time resulting in a gunfight in the street, despite being wounded a couple of times, Tyreese manages to kill 13 members of the gang, and then returns home where his mother treats his wounds.
