Hello dow do you guys check if the road is open going to Leavitt Lake?

Check with Caltrans at Roads.dot.ca.gov. Sr108 Sonora Pass usually opens around mid May. But with this year snow pack it can be late May to mid June. And the dirt road that leads off from 108 to Leavitt Lake will still have patches of snow, if you go right after the opening of 108. So be aware.

Thank you! Nice place.. We’re planning on going there this Friday but I’m worried about the condition might still have snow on the trail

@@anp3617 We don’t think it’s a good time to go yet. Since there will still be lots of snow and the gate after the dirt parking lot might be closed too. Hope this helps!
