FUN FACT: Sorrell Booke (Boss Hogg), was a highly intelligent man. He served for two years as an officer in the U.S. Army specializing in counterintelligence as a linguist translator during the Korean War. His job was deciphering intercepted enemy messages as he was fluent in several languages.

Sorrell Brooke is somewhat famous for knowing how to speak 8 lanuages, one being Japanese. There is one particular time where a group of Japanese tourists came on set to meet the crew and tour the locations and were certainly shocked that of all people "Boss Hog" Sorrell Booke would speak with them in Japanese. Must have been quite the irony to hear him speak in about as "non-boss hog" as you can possibly get.
