Haiti has always been a problematic place! Same can be said about Africa.....it's not superpowers or being an oracle it's just basic logic! You don't go from a nation of barbarians and gang members into a stable nation of law in a decade without drastic changes and those aren't happening in the third world!
@roderickclerk59042 ай бұрын
@@SesterSinmon sad but true. It took Europeans like 6000 years from the times of the Indo Europeans to reach the modern era. Though I would say Europeans were already very civilized by the late Iron Age and definitely by the Early Medieval Age. A lot of cultural tinkering happened to get Europeans to where they have gotten. South Saharan Africa, a vast place where almost half of the population were still living like the Paleolithic Era just 600 years ago, are expected to adopt modern European ideals of liberal democracy and liberal republicanism with ease? I’ve always asked myself why do these nations have so many problems. Colonization didn’t help, but IMO it’s as if they’ve skipped the hundreds if not thousands of years of cultural development needed to foster such systems
@twannifufu2 ай бұрын
@@SesterSinmonBarbarians? Are you aware of the history of Haiti and how France and The United States intentionally destabilized it because the slaves revolted for their freedom? The lawlessness of the country, mostly centered in Port-Au-Prince, didn’t happen in a vacuum. This logic is why people think Americans are idiots, and rightfully so.
@twannifufu2 ай бұрын
@@roderickclerk5904I’m sorry, what? This whole diatribe implies that Black Africans are inferior to Europeans. Europe is not the center of the world nor should it be the standard for humanity. A majority of the world’s biggest issues in the last 500 years stem from the actions of the European empires. There are many cultures around the world who don’t model themselves after European ideals that do just fine. It’s clear you have no idea on how the various peoples of Africa lived before European colonization.
