Family of 13 in NYC ❤️🗽 Easter Shopping at Wegman's & Target

Hippity Hoppity it's that time of year again! We stopped by Wegman's to pick up a ham and the kids all got to pick out a snack. I'm a little neurotic about health food but I try to be balanced and let them have a splurge from time to time. (Somehow they all picked gmo, red no. 40, corn syrup filled treats lol) Oh well, they thoroughly enjoyed them, and shared thankfully! We got our ham then the big kids headed home and Marc and I headed to Target for Easter Egg Hunting goodies. Then we headed home for some Flank Steak Teriyaki. Chloe is feeling better. Thank you for your prayers. She has some ongoing appointments with her pediatrician and the orthopedic team at Mt. Sinai, so we're not out of the woods yet, but she is in good spirits and such a trooper! Thank you for your prayers and love! #easter

Elijah is such a caring, supportive young man and very mature for his age. Must admit I was quite shocked to see Chloe walking to Church and out n about on Sunday, thought she might have to walk short distances and rest. Loved seeing Moses push daddy’s basket!! 🤡💙🥳

Enoch is literally the sweetest little soul ever❤️ He is always so polite, appreciative, happy, and thankful for whatever he's doing. I love hearing him say thank you to his parents for stuff or just being so grateful for whatever he gets. It's a breath of fresh air.

Stock up Amber. The bridge situation will take years and years to fully get port back open to ships. No, it isn’t the only one, but it will make an impact on supply and price. Plus if another problem occurs somewhere.. dried, canned, boxed, jarred, pasta, rice n beans, ramen, peanut butter, dry milk, frozen juice and vegetables and freeze cheese and milk and eggs. It’s really important. Your kids might not be foodies anymore but they won’t go hungry and I’m sure they will think it tastes good. Water too.

Looks like you need one of the folding shopping cart. I bought one and it's a life saver, I bring it with me on the subway on busses too if I need too.. I bought a metal folding shopping cart with four wheels two large in the back & 2 small ones in the front. Easy storage folded up has a lock to keep in place, I store it in my coat closet. I bought mine in a local store for less then 20 dollars. My friend bought hers online.

I’m so glad that Chloe is on the mend. If you get the chance to go back and spend time at Strand’s Bookshop, it’s a wonderful place to browse for new and used books, some are bargains and some are very high end.

Hi. To relax & for relief at the end of an exhausting day, have Chloe soak in some Dr Teal’s Epsom salts. Eucalyptus & spearmint are great for relief & Lavender for relaxation :) Prayers for a quick & successful recovery!!!

I just visited NYC three weeks ago and even with me being a 24 year old disabled girl (its obvious as I have a service dog) I really never felt unsafe. My mom was super nervous about going but even she agreed that she didn't feel in danger. Of course we were on high alert anyways though.

Doesn't seem hard for you guys to get around. Don't mind the trains and all the people. I live rural NH. So quite different getting around for us. No trains busses or anything!! Have to have car. Everything is far away. Your a sweet family that seem to enjoy each others company. Happy Easter and enjoy your candies. Not sure what you believe regarding the Lord but we say He has Risen!!

I'm surprised the doctor didn't recommend a cane for Chloe if she were to walk some distance. It helps with balance and not overcompensating of putting all her weight on her good side. Also I do hope physiotherapy is already being lined up for her.

I was thinking the same but I was very hard on her in the last video so I was trying to exhibit restraint. Around the block is fine. I worry Chloe is afraid to say if it’s too much for her. They need to focus on her recovery and not push it. Just my unwanted opinion but it is hard for me when I sense children aren’t looked after properly.

I always enjoy seeing your family Amber and Mark. Even though I only shop for 1, I only shop at Costco. There was a farm called DePiero's Farm in Montvale New Jersey (the town I was raised in). It was sold a few years ago and is now Wegman's. Get well soon Chloe. 🎹 👍

I live near Rochester , home of Wegmans. They are so expensive I only get a few things there. Pasta sauce is good! Otherwise I stick to Aldi, BJ and super Walmart. 6:54

Ok but that “We don’t even know where we’re going?!” was absolutely followed by an implied “who are we right now, mom?!?” 😂 I have to say the fact you can easily keep track of all the kids that are with your or heading off for their own things is impressive, I’d let the older kids be the direction finders too if I had to do the rest of that.

Do you have some type of dollar store within walking distance to your home? Because that would have been an easier place to get the Easter baskets and some treats as well along with treats from target. Morsel just to not have to like everything up and down stairs and through the subway.
