The People's Court

The People's Court

6 ай бұрын

The plaintiff claims her sister, the defendant, owes her money for a loan and furniture, so she's suing. The defendant says she stored the plaintiff's belongings when she got evicted. As far as she knows, the plaintiff picked everything up. Additionally, the defendant argues the loan was used to feed the plaintiff's kids because the defendant has custody of them.

I’m probably bias based upon the kids.. but, the least you could do is let your sister keep the $600 esp after taking care of your children for almost two years (and continuing)… she’s feeding, clothing, providing love, educating and doing everything a mother is supposed to be doing..

She done the right thing and I applaud her for that because I know it was probably hard for her to call them on her own sister. Let's say she didn't call, her sister would have done it again and again. All it takes is one time.... ONE TIME and those kids could be in heaven!! But she said she had a baby sitter. Idk it has to be more to the story. Because sometimes baby sitters are just bad. A girl I know just fired her baby sitter that was her neighbor because the baby sitter left her daughter to be watched by someone else and the daughter got out of the house. The cops found her. She was also at work. Also if she was working for her kids she doesn’t sound like a bad mom. She legit was doing something she has to do to support her kids.

She used those kids to get back at her sister. If she really cared about the kids she wouldn't call the police on her. If she was that concerned she'd offer to keep them when the sister had to work at night. She orchestrated that to get back at her sister and to have leverage over her. If she gave a damn she would not want their mother to be caught up in the system and have her life turned upside down. Becasue she was at work. WTF? I could see if the sister was found on a street corner smoking crack. She's working trying to provide for her kids...... Why bring more problems on her? Her sister is evil .

@laurynjohnson4291 that shit was definitely weird but a lot of ppl dont know what family really means. Family would find another way to address the issue. Cps gotta be your last resort. This could've all been avoided by not calling the police. When she called her sister to confirm she was at work she could've easily said girl so and so said yo kids at home alone again ima go get them whoever suppose to be there aint. I would tell my sister to call the so called sitter and handle that and I wouldve got my niece and nephew and waited for my sis to come home. Tell her I'll watch the babies from now on and that be that. Easy no drama. But instead we get this weird shit. 😕

If she (the plaintiff) is leaving the kids by themselves to ‘go to work,’ I’m almost positive she’s also leaving them by themselves to go other places. So heck yea, the sister had every right to report her. Want her to wait until something happens to the children? It’s too late then. She cares more for the well being of THE CHILDREN than her sister, which she should. The children can’t fend for themselves.

No. The defendant gave her the kids for the summer without the courts approval. She can't give her the kids without the court agreeing to it. That sister is raising her children without much help at all because we all know that food stamps pays for 🙄 extra utilities not to mention the essentials, toys and activities, medical, the gas to take them to and from school, and her time of devoting to these kids that her sister failed to care for. Not that tax payers should always be responsible to raise children but my goodness how the judge couldn’t empathize with this sister/aunt is irritating in the least.
