@@josie9583 don’t worry! I have a 4 year old who only knows a few sounds as well. My oldest was the same way and one day it all just clicked for him. Kids learn at different paces! But if you are worried make some flash cards or make a game out of it :)

I would LOVE the schedule and how you break down these subjects. It seems you do them in the afternoon after completion of the core subjects (math, reading, writing?). I'm SO grateful for this guidance. I'm helping my nephew homeschool this year and really want to do a great job - thank you!

I've used novelties for years with my international students. Read everything from My Father's Dragon to 1984. Didn't realize homeschoolers in the US use them as well! I'd love another video on character development and how you do read aloud thank you

Hi Jady, I've benefited so much from your tips and suggestions, thank you! Regarding social studies and science, I know you recommended the 180 days work books for both subjects, do you feel like that's enough practice for kids to score well on the homeschool annual testing? We use the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT-10) as required by our state. I also agree with you that these two subjects are better taught as a family, and not grade specific. But I'm also worried that I might not cover all the common core standard for testing purpose if I do the unit study approach. Please advise.

l would love to see a video for character development and faith as well as your schedule, I have a Really big prpblem deciding and dividing the topics for my 5 year old, it seems like I never find the right theme or subject she would be interested in... she would stuck on one theme, for example horses, or cars (because of her younger sibling) and it's hard to give her other themes to focus on...

Could you change theme monthly, weekly, or even by season? I usually just say (in an excited way) this month our theme is “ocean life” and maybe show them a few pictures or book they get to look forward to and they get pumped for it
