In this first part of our Famous Graves Tour, we visit the gravesites of icons such as Kirk Douglas, Farrah Fawcett, Merv Griffin, Rodney Dangerfield, and Marilyn Monroe. Along the way, we also pay our respects to Carl Malden, Walter Matthau, Peggy Lee, Truman Capote, and more. From the peaceful surroundings to the history of this cemetery established in 1906, you won't want to miss out on this journey through the stars.

Farrah fawcett woww. My first big crush. Her on the skateboard and Charlie's Angels. Her pretty eyes and smile never changed. Walter mathau and lemon were so great together in the odd couple and grumpy old men. Lots of memories seeing all the names. Carol Brady. ( Florence Henderson ) could really play the part of the mom. Uncle Hugh hefner lol. That man had an amazing life. Surrounded by beautiful women. Don Knott's ( Barney FIFE ) poor guy only had one bullet. He made me laugh alot.

Hello Dave, just a note on Eva Gabor. Her sister Zsa Zsa Gabor is there with her sister. I had seen the placement of Zsa Zsa's ashes placed under the name maker by her husband . It was on the evening news

I doubt the movie The Thing With Two Heads starring Karl Malden and Rosey Greer was one of Karl's favorite movies. I laughed so hard watching it.

One thing I know about Bettie Page is that she was once a patient at Patton State Hospital that is near where I live in San Bernardino. There are some famous people at the Mt. View Cemetery out here in San Bernardino those are Randy Rhodes and his mother, musician and guitarist for Ozzy Osborn’s band and played his guitar skills on the song “Crazy Train”, also there is the oldest brother of Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan Earp in James Earp and their sister, the girl in the Earp family. I do know through Arthur Dark that the father of the Earp’s is at the LA National Cemetery that is not far from the Westwood cemetery and he is a Veteran of the Mexican American War. Arthur also went other Hollywood Stars there too, including the grave of Dean Paul Martin, Dean Martin’s son who was killed in plane crash while flying for the California Air National Guard in 1987 outside of Palm Springs in an F-4 Phantom Fighter. Dean Paul was at the rank of a Captain in the Air National Guard.

DD, This was like being at the Oscars. I have a lot of connections to many people here. I saw Brian W and the BB at the Mn state fair. Kirk Douglas was a captain in the Final Countdown filmed partially in Norfolk, our CO had a cameo as an admiral. I ate on the Nimitz once. Also, I wrote a small funny paragraph about Columbo on a KZfaq video and got the hearted reply from his daughter Katherine. And my mom's friend grow up in the St. Paul house used in Grumpy old men. My friend a fishing guide tried and failed to catch a big catfish (old Charlie) for the movie. I got Billy Martin's autograph at Fenway and he would have known Joltin' Joe.

If you want to feel really old then realize , in 1963 on I've got a secret,' (while you and I were little kids) an old man was there to describe his eye witness account of Lincoln's assassination.

I was asked about why George C. Scott’s grave is unmarked and all I could answer is that the only person who would know that is is son, Actor Campbell Scott. Campbell Scott’s mother is Actress Colleen Dewhurst who passed away in 1991 in New York and was cremated with no final resting place. Next to Tim Conway looked to be Georgia Frontiere, the owner of the LA Rams Football Team, she never really ran the team, she let a man named Larry Kent as General Manager run the team, where he took them out of the LA Memorial Coliseum, to Anaheim Stadium in Anaheim, and then to St. Louis. New Owner Jack Kronkie went and brought them back to LA and got them a new stadium in Inglewood called Sofi Stadium. Eddie Albert and Karl Malden were very good friends and Karl was good friends with Kirk Douglas too and was beside his son on Streets of San Francisco.

Angela Lansbury was laid to rest there after she passed away in October 2022, apparently shortly after this video was filmed. Do you happen to know where Angela is in the cemetery? We're flying out to LA in March and we want to pay our respects.

@@famousgraveswithdiamonddave This is a little weird. It was initially reported that Angela Lansbury was laid to rest at Westwood, but now that is being refuted. All I'm seeing now is her burial location is listed as unknown.
