Pikachu was the first Comm Day, so a lot of peoples' first shiny. I didn't get the magikarp either, not for a while, but I DID grind the Halloween event and got ONE shiny Duskull as my first shiny

My first shiny honestly was Nidoqueen from Pokemon Gold. The entire time I thought she was originally Green and Pink, so I always wondered why she appeared Blue and Pink on the Anime. :) I put two and two together a couple of years ago when I got back INTO Pokemon. LOL!!!! Picking up with Sword and Shield, my first Shiny was Articuno and on GO it was Pikachu. Thank you for your Content!

I really can't remember my first shiny , but the oldest i have is a shiny Espeon that i evolved from an Eevee , 3 years ago. I remember for sure that i was screaming out of joy

I started playing in Oct 2019, and my first shiny was a Trapinch, followed by a Swablu. I can see it if i go to the oldest catches in my storage. Good times!

The sparkle icon next to the CP didn't come about until after the release of shiny Plusle and Minun. Many trainers complained about shiny Minun looking very similar to its normal form. Trainers had skipped on the shiny Minun thinking it wasn't shiny. They missed the sparkles when they tapped on the Minun. After trainers complained about Minun, Niantic added the sparkle icon next to the CP.

I remember my first shiny. I was on the way home from school and one of the hoenn waves came out. I managed to get Shiny Aron and I still have it to this day, except that it’s now an Aggron.
