I just finished watching the drama today and I find out there is an anime version!?🤯

OMG you should of made this longer. I freaking loved it and didn't want it to end. I love them together. I was soo disappointed at the end of the series because they didn't even share a kiss or a freaking hug. After everything they been through to be together, you would think we would at least see them hug or kiss. Your video made my day. ❤❤❤

​@@angelicberi what interesting, in the first book of this author, the main character r4pes another main (all the time), here (the second work) technicaly too, but he's doesn't mind, but in the last, the third, one character scary even to touch other if he doesn't want it. We can see how her view changed

I also finished watching it yesterday...and also expected some scenes to cherish

in china, law prohibits Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan's love from being shown, so they do it in subtle ways! There's two scenes I can think of off the top of my head. 1. When WWX (Wei Wuxian) and LZ (Lan Zhan) get their clothes soaked red. Red is symbolic of marriage in China, so that was there way of saying they got married in a subtle way 2. When LZ kept giving WWX chickens. This is a traditional Chinese marriage custom. "In a Chinese wedding, they are called "Route-leading Chicken" 带路鸡, which are given by the bride's family when the bride leaves for the groom's place. Pairing up a rooster and a hen symbolizes a pair of Mandarin ducks 鸳鸯, which have the meaning of blissful pairing love" Also, the headbands of Gusu Lan members are only to be touched by life partners. WWX always messes with LZ's headband, but LZ also tied up WWX with his headband once! Meaning LZ chooses WWX as his life partner and is claiming ownership of him If you read the manhua or novel, there are actually quite a few scenes where they kiss and so on! They are canonically married. Laws in China suck, but the animation team tried really hard to work around the laws and still hint at the, being together! The drama is even more censored than the donghua, so I can see where you thought it was platonic but I promise they're married!

Even though in dorama far more censorship than even anime version, you could totally see their love in their eyes, the way they treat each other. Imo it's like as gay as it gets with China's censorship. Although, the best versions are totally the original book and the audio dorama

Well, technically as part of the source material it is already considered cannon. These aren't fan fix its, they are part of the original storyline. Yeah, it was hidden more in the shows, but, the subtext is still there.
