The big box was from me Marty - you may have to remove some plastic covers as some parts are underneath them as well - interiors are just spares as I have no idea what they're from. Please, please do up the Freightliner and trailers pack (need to make a tow hitch for the truck) as this was one of my favourites. Plastic wheels were loose so I bagged them up.The Rolls was bought many many years ago by my parents after I said I wanted a Rolls Royce for my birthday LOL. Sorry about the orange paint by the way hehe.

John Ellison what do you mean by a hitch? Do you mean that the hitch has broken off the truck, or do you mean it needs a dolly for the trailers. If it needed a dolly, there was already one in that package. I do agree to you though, the truck and trailers need to to be done up after the horse box.

Marty you've created a monster. You're never gonna catch up to restoring all these so what will you do with them all? Also how about a live q&a? We've all got lots of questions about your collection.. how many you have, want, display etc. Loving the work as always!

Never been particularly interested in matchbox cars (though I’m certainly old enough to have owned originals) until I stumbled upon your channel. I’ve since seen every video you’ve ever made and have enjoyed every one. There’s something magical about your presentations that is addicting. No plans to restore my own but it’s fun living vicariously through your work😊. Keep the vids coming and give your understanding wife a big hug! I’d love to see you paint the horses maybe palomino or buckskin or something realistic like that. What do you think??

Marty, greetings from the USA. I absolutely love watching your videos. I first began collecting Matchbox cars at the age of four in 1969. (They were the one toy I could get my mom to buy because they were less than a dollar at that time!). I have owned several of the models I have watched you restore and your videos bring on sweet nostalgia of "the good old days". Sadly, my mom gave away my collection when I was in my twenties, so I no longer have them. But your videos have brought back great memories of playing with my three brothers, two of whom are gone now. Thank you, Marty, and keep your videos coming!

Greetings from Sugar Land, Texas, the sweetest town in the Lone Star state. Regarding the Charger III at 15:39 - the "real" one was a show car and not a regular production vehicle. MPC made a plastic 1/24 scale model kit in the late 1960's but it was pulled from the market before too many of them were made (probably a licensing issue). I just happen to have one in my collection, unbuilt. I have the Hot Wheels version but not the Matchbox Superfast version. Your videos are always a treat to watch and have inspired me to get cracking on restoring some of my Matchbox vehicles.

Matchbox collector here. There are a couple of rarities in there. The Stake truck has the blue stakes which are hard to find. The Ford Corsair has grey wheels which is not an easy find either. John did give you all the basic parts for the Double container truck. The little dolly that connects the two trailers gets lost easily, but you have one in the box. That is lucky

Your video gets a like before I even start the video Marty, as I know it’s going to be good. I believe the fire truck may be made by a Japanese tinplate company too. The trailers are cooper Jarrett’s connected to a Hendrickson relay truck. These were real trucks and cooper Jarrett owned these. Just search up cooper Jarrett and you will find a picture of one of them.

ah! DW40! the answer to everything!! even my gramophones depend on it. it cleans the outside and removes decades of baked in dirt and grime and does wonders for a totally dried up main spring inside of its spring barrel just fill the spring-barrel up to the limit and let it sit for hours then wind up and let it run and repeat that process at least ten times and the old dried up grease is completely re-constituted and your wind-up gramophone will work again for a long time DW40 a wonderful substance!!

I love these unboxing video's as much as the makeovers! Well done! That strange pink flat car, I believe is a Citroen Traction Avant! Also, the pipe/girder lorry, with the missing stanchions; would it be possible for you to build a dummy load, like a cradle with pipes in to fit on the back? Perhaps several pallets with bricks or blocks, a series of roof trusses, or even a 'Site hut'? :-)

19:51 Back in July 1962 my mother took me to a toy shop at the bottom of Chingford Mount (north London) and invited me to choose a car for my holiday. There were plenty of smart sports cars but I thought to myself "why settle for 1 car when I can have two trucks" so we went home clutching that double freighter! It looks as though the tractor unit might be the one adjacent to your coffee mug. Maybe a triple B roadtrain is in the making.
