It is so weird how fragrances can smell different on everyone. The rouge version actually smells pretty sweet on me. I really like it.

That’s exactly how BR540 is. I spray it on myself and can barely smell it, so I keep on spraying it. Then my friends say they can smell me from down the hall. Lol 😂

@@VDM32 To be fair, this is a fragrance that is known to make people go a little noseblind on it. BR540 does the exact same thing due to ambroxan. Y'all are both right.

I bought the ALT fragrance dupe of BR540. I really like it. I can’t compare it to the original since I haven’t smelt it yet.

Where's the problem, she obviously knew Baccarat Rouge 540 before, never smelled it, but from the notes and reviews you can tell, unnecessary and rude comment^^ PS and ya, I own my very much loved Baccarat Rouge 540 EdP & Extrait de Parfum and the Al Haramain Amber Oud Ruby Edition, but if I didn't smelled them before, it's silly buying them, oookkkk.....

I had the Rouge some time ago & now I have the Ruby variation. ROUGE is the one!

I just got mine and I also have the extrait 540. They're 95% the same The only difference is that Ruby has a dot spicy dry down, baccarat dries down without any sharpness. Other than that: THE SAME!!! I love it. I'm lucky enough that I live in Ajman UAE and that's where the Factory is. Soooooo good, I still prefer the real deal but I'm sure other people won't tell the difference 😃😃😃

I don't get citrus at all from the Amber Oud,I hate citruses but I love this fragrance. I'm glad I can't smell the citruses.

To me it’s just a brush of bergamot right at the opening and then it’s immediately gets more warm. I really don’t care to much for long last citrus fragrances either

Hi there I bought the amber oud rouge and I can barely smell it, just a funny sweety fragrance, I mean I sprayed and sprayed. Will continue to try and see how the scent develops! Still pleased to have this though ☺️

@@VDM32 actually it did get better. Even when I don't even it others smell it. It is my most complimented perfume, I get compliments every time I wear it and last all day even in hot humid weather I live in the Caribbean.

@@VDM32 if you don't smell Amber Oud Ruby Edition on you, you most likely will not smell the Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum to, but everyone around you will smell you, that's one of these magical components Baccarat has, you get a whiff from time to time, you don't offend others with your fragrance, but it projects and lasts like beast mode, it's not hyped bc it's so pretty to look at and so funny, to spend a lot on it....🤌👌😘

Amber OUd Gold smells spot on like Erba Pura. I have both and they are identical. Erba Pura has been reformulated and it’s not as potent anymore. IMHO Amber Oud Gold is better.

Barely able to see detail of the perfume with detail zoomed in picture, hard for me to compare with mine the rouge red color one. But roughly can tell the one I have the plastic red box looks different, mine has gold color font in the box lid , yours don’t. Now I’m confused who’s fake. Uh

Did you know that ambergris is a byproduct of whale bile ducts? 🐳 💦 that’s why BR540 is expensive.
