Oud can smell like incense and wood mixed together and/or can be a bit fecal in some fragrances. In this one, it's subdued (my opinion). Thanks for the help on the pronunciation of the Ocelot bottle! 🥳🥳🥳

@@VeronicaSays The tobacco edition is a dupe for Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. To me it has a spicier opening, but the dry down is very close to the Tom Ford, and it actually performs better. The longevity is eternal and it has nuclear sillage if you overspray lol.

​@@VeronicaSays ...and Amber Oud Ruby, is a clone of Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait de Parfum, Amber Oud Rouge of the EdP, love and own all 4 of them (Baccarat is just magical for me:), was never into dupes until I tried the Al Haramain clone of my loved Erba Pura by Xerjoff (Amber Oud Gold;), such close dupes and so great in projection, they doesn't replace them, but I don't think it gets any better for that price point....

Very different! The D&G one is super light and fresh whereas this one has a much deeper presence, woodiness, and longevity.

l' Imperatrice 3 is an aquatic, fruity fragrances that's very airy and inoffensive, this one is like Erba Pura, Kirke etc; a real strong fruit punch with a strong, but insanely beautiful ambergris note, woody, very projecting, you shouldn't wear it in office etc; you would offend people that aren't into fragrances.... But do you tried Issey Miake fragrances? They are in my opinion, the best designer aquatics, or Goldfield & Banks (forgot the name, just have decands, but the blue one;), or something like Beach Walk, Matcha, dew drop from Maison Margiela Replica? This are beautiful, high quality and for this kind of fragrances, good lasting, projecting and a nice sillage......

PS Do you like l' Imperatrice the one without any number?;) I accidentally bought this one instead of l' Imperatrice 3, the shop wouldn't take it back bc of 1 spritz, and if you like and would want that, you can have it for free, just the delivery, tell me if you want it, it needs to get away from me, to disappointing for me with the shop etc....;)

@@VeronicaSays Yes. Some more video watching indicated I have a tester. Al Haramain didn't put batch codes on testers for some unknown reason. The first thing I do in dept. stores is to look for the batch code.. I've checked batch and formula codes for so long that I have most houses deciphered without looking them up. The sales people always get a kick out of it. Most don't realize that everything gets refomulated, especially the old powerhouse classics for men.

Very good point. After learning perfumes have changed in past 20yrs ..I learned the hard way that the bottome of bottles and all thier numbers and dates are important!

Do you know Erba Pura by Xerjoff? It's a clone of Erba Pura and a quite close one, if you love Erba Pura, you will love this one to, maybe even comparable to Kirke by Tiziana Terenzi, but more the same category than a clone, so really, really fruity fragrances and not blind buy safe...

This would smell enchanting on a Woman and on a Man’s skin the woody, musk, notes are more prominent. I went noseblind about an hour after applying and didn’t notice much projection. Can applying a fragrance too close to the skin hinder projection? Purchased the AOGE “Extreme” edition which has added notes of Cedarwood and Myrrh should be arriving shortly

@@VeronicaSays Purchased Amber Oud Gold Edition (AOGE) and Amber Oud Gold Edition Extreme (AOGEE). Tested AOGE yesterday at a nearby store (associate sprayed two sprays on right wrist) and was very Citrus/Fruity with excellent projection for 2 hrs, even though I went noseblind very quickly. Longevity was 18+ hrs on skin and more Feminine leaning with prominence towards Melon, Pineapple, and White Musk. Wearing AOGEE today, which is Woodsy, Resinous, Green Herbal, with slight nuances of Fruit and Musk. Absolutely more Masculine leaning with less projection than AOGE. Longevity undetermined ATM. Had a woman which compared the differences between AOGE and AOGEE, she said “This one (AOGEE) smells like the one you had on yesterday (AOGE), but less powdery and more Woodsy” When I asked which one smelled more Masculine/Feminine she confirmed that AOGE was more Feminine and AOGEE was more Masculine. She also stated that she liked the smell of AOGE better even though she said it was “very strong”
