@@Dark-Pikachu1 Any Land, which while a very small detail is very important, at minimum it means you have field of the dead in the command zone, it is also kind of a big deal for five color decks to be able to run multi-colored land that can still be fetched up by your commander. Golos with "Search for a Basic Land card" may not have gotten banned, as it wouldn't get better with every utility land that gets printed.

Did I miss something? Were there no good cards revealed, or did Jeremy not realize he gets to play the cards revealed from Soulfire Eruption until the end of his NEXT turn? There's a reason why Kaboom costs 5 mana and Soulfire is 9.

I’ve Watched many episodes of Commander VS in the time I’ve been subscribed, and I have a Commander named Intet, The Dreamer. He has such an interesting ability that I think one of you guys would have fun playing. I’m horrible at deck building is if you are interested, I’ll leave the hard part to you guys.

They've done intet at least once maybe twice if u look back for their older stuff. Compared to newer commanders (cough cough Golos) it's almost too fair now lol

Eerie Ultimatum is so busted that Jeremy just assumed it exiled itself on resolution. It doesn't, which is actually pretty nasty cause I've gotten it back from the yard before and cast it twice in a game.

45:30 I have no idea why Justin is re-equipping the Hammer instead of smacking Stephen with Tana and getting at least 3 Saprolings out of the deal, which he can then can stuff into Attrition if need be, and draw cards out of Moldervine Reclamation in the process. Would have instantly kick-started the engine.

@@brentkeegan4719 The total power of black creatures on the table not counting his own Baron is 12. He is at 33. Plus attacking with Tana gives him additional blockers and translates to more cards and more options via Moldervine Reclamation. Blocking here is thinking short game while attacking is thinking long term.

@@chaosof99 sorry Steven had mana as well and he did not have a lot of black mana to sac with in case he did do that and there are 2 other players at the table and am sure John rifted and Justin was only able to sac one creature so I don’t see your point and Steven HAD MANA UP not like he did not have tricks up his sleeve with 7 CARDS in hand

So if I am not mistaken we have a tie for first with Jon and Stephen ending the season at 27 points. Jon had a 2 point lead going into today and got 1 point for last place. Stephen got 1 point for first blood and 2 points for tying with Justin for 3rd( they round down for ties). So unless I am missing a point for Stephen or Jon they end the season in a tie. In the past 24 seasons has there ever been a tie or do they have a rule in place for the event of a tie?

Wow. It's almost like golos is too good and should be banned or something. XD Real talk though, as much as I think golos is dumb, I feel bad for all the people that lost their decks this week. The banning of a commander is a big deal and will take time to heal. Especially considering this is the first commander they have banned in a long time besides levolod, but all the leo players knew there was a chance they wouldn't have a deck for long. I'm sure everyone with a golos deck felt safe. Just remember, it's just a game, and the rules committee is doing what they think is best, so please don't hate on them.

I'm surprised people didnt expect golos gone. I expected it gone earlier tbch. Plus people lost one card not a whole deck. I dont get the people acting like losing golos completely destroyed their deck somehow. (Though in Jeremy's deck I can kind of understand the argument lol)

Jeska gets loyalty for each time you cast your commander(s). So he gets 1 loyalty from already casting Tymna and a 2nd loyalty for casting Jeska.

@@CBoxStudios interesting how the companion mechanic allowed him to have 3 commanders in this case instead of the typical 2. I wonder if there are other cases of edh decks with 3 commanders?

I guess you can count it as a 3rd commander but it still follows regular companion restrictions. 3 mana to put it into your hand and whatever the deck building restriction for that companion. I see it more as a free spell in your hand.

This is exactly the type of deck golos was banned for. In one turn he got from last place to winning place just with Golos himself. They just got lucky he didnt hit Extra turn spell in those 3 cards, otherwise it would be over. Golos should have been banned long time ego.

And it dies to a one mana nature's claim and did nothing but get him a land when he first cast it. Sorry but golos isn't that scary. Build more interaction into your decks. Kinan is a 2 mana mana doubler with a similar effect and he's not banned

no, golos was banned because in low tier commander matches he takes a lot of deck places and people use him more than the butt hurt commity allow. I never used him in my life, but he's not a good commander. you won't use him in cedh because he's just bad for it, you won't use him in more tuned decks because he's slow. just not that good of a commander that wins so late it hurts to stay in the game, an hour long game is too long.
